Some settings are more lethal than others.
This page needs a better description. You can help this wiki by expanding or clarifying the information given. |
Sorting from least lethal to most lethal:
- Contractual Immortality - Death is impossible
- Death Is Cheap, because it's temporary
- Death is rare
- Death is uncommon
- Anyone Can Die - Death is common
- Kill'Em All - everyone will die
- All Deaths Final - nobody comes back from the dead
And a special mention of original-rules Traveller, where it's possible to die during character creation before the game even begins.
For a list of what happens after in-universe death, see Sorting Algorithm of Deadness.
