Non Sequitur Scene: Having to rescue three monkeys named Curly, Larry and Moe inside a giant talking tree, for a shaman who gives you a drink in a fish-shaped bottle that cures "alcoholism".
- Also, a painting penguin named "Penguincasso". Even more bizarre is that he's actually good at painting.
Complete Monster: Contrivingly averted, where Skarsgaard, who once tried to stone Danais to death, joins your party later on in the game. Farrah seems to have no problem with this.
- To be fair, Danais never actually tells her what happened to him in the gorge.
Crowning Music of Awesome: The boss battle music in the first half of the game.
Crowning Moment of Funny: Lots, especially the scenes involving Cap'n Grizzlybeard.
- The sleepy milkman.
Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: Definitely, definitely the ending scenes.
- If you go to a certain cliff at Featherhill Heights at night, you'll find Scott and Anaya have both sneaked out of the house to spend some time together. It's minor but it makes you go, "Awww."
Game Breaker: Dewey's casino. Specifically, the "Archery, Balloon-Style" game. It has a fairly low entry cost, and is much easier to make a profit off of than the other two games. It can also be finished quickly, allowing you to gain incredible amounts of cash in just a few minutes.
- Aurora Chronos and Aurora Arcana, which give you twice as many turns and half MP cost, respectively.
- Skarsgaard's Tripler ability is very cheap if you abuse it.
Memetic Molester: Harly Quinn.
Tear Jerker: The ending scenes.
- You have to be lacking a heart to not be moved in some way by that ending.
That One Boss: Yucca in the Dimming Caverns.
That One Level: Azule Gorge.
- Also, the Rain Tree.
- Fairy Estuary.
What an Idiot!: Farrah lets Skarsgaard join the party during the second half of the game. Yes, even after he tried to stone Danais to death while he was defenseless in the water.
Woobie: Danais and Remy.
- The Postman sitting by himself outside the park at night can make some players feel bad for him.
