A pair of Flash point-and-click games by Zeebarf, consisting of A Small Favor and Another Small Favor.

The setting is a future world, where currency is abolished, every citizen has a clearance badge of one color or another, and all trade is conducted via barter. However, the underworld prefers "favor trade". The obvious potential for abuses in favor trade has led the government to outlaw it, not that it does anything.

The player is an unnamed alien deep in favor-debt to a shadowy criminal organization. In the first game, they "request" that he assassinate one Senator Lobe, with the promise of removing one hundred favors from his debt if he does so.

In Another Small Favor, the government has cracked down severely following Senator Lobe's death, and the alien needs a new identity. His employers have arranged for such a thing, but it won't be easy...

Tropes used in A Small Favor include:
  • Beast Man: The Scavengers. They have no tolerance for outsiders, and the Scavenger village in the second game will only trade for food.
  • I Owe You My Life: The cat tribe leader in the second game, after you save him. You call in that debt against Mr. Personality's commander.
  • No Name Given: The player character.
  • Nonstandard Game Over: Get the bomb core from Milos, kill him, and then blow up the Worm before he fixes the chip. Your employers will kill you for rendering the job impossible. This is also the only way to get a Game Over.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: The Worm in the first game, Mr. Personality in the second.
  • Running Gag: The pink bunnies.
  • Shout-Out: The retired favor trader in the second game looks much like the title character from Zeebarf's other series, The Several Journeys of Reemus.
  • Toy Time: Mr. Personality's base in the second game is themed this way.
  • You Have Failed Me...: Render the job impossible, and your employers will not be pleased.
