- Cloning Blues - Erma cloned herself, both with and against her will, after losing contact with her biological family.
- Born in an Elevator - Or more exactly, born in a middle of a freakin' terrorist attack!

- Good-Looking Privates: Erma is quite spiffy both in her regular duty uniform and flight suit; but put Erma in her dress uniform, a tight backless single piece of material with slippers and a cape to frame it, and she becomes a knockout who can stun any male.
- Heroic BSOD - Erma suffers maybe the mother of all the Heroic BSOD after the ILR bombed her homeworld, her boyfriend dies when Tavas disable The Net's control over his aerodyne, plunging him to his death, losing all contact with her family and son (and thinking they're all dead) and after Tavas arrested her and made fun of her.

- Ojou - She came from a distinctive military family, but she never brags (or likes to talk) about the topic.
- Older Than They Look - At the final issue, she's 30 years old, but she looks much more younger.
- Petting Zoo People - She is a feline
- Rank Up - She begins her military career as a flight officer and later she's promoted to Squadron Commander.
- Real Women Never Wear Dresses: Averted in one story where Erma finds out, with Toki's coaxing, that she finds that occasionally indulging her feminine side, like buying and wearing a sexy dress and attracting the appreciative stares of males, is fun. However, she still is no less a soldier on this kind of off-time such as she spots a possible terrorist with a gun and she and Toki have him covered with their own side arms instantly. It turns out to be only a camera with a pistol grip, but everyone assures Erma that it was a reasonable call.
- Sibling Rivalry - Towards her younger brother Tasak. It doesn't end well for both of them.
- Surprise Pregnancy - Erma finds out after she's starting to have weird dreams and after a medical checkout. Her friend Toki is not amused after she finds out.

- Villainous Breakdown - Despise he's not evil per se (just a misguided dude who wants to join the EDF at any cost) he suffers one when he finds out Tavas' real intentions after Dornthant was bombed by the ILR thanks to him and tries to kill Tavas with his own hands.

- Disney Death - We don't know anything about her after the ILR wiped out Dornthant, but in the final epilogue, it's mentioned she's survived and reunited with her husband and her grandson Rojigo, but she never managed to reunite with Erma again.

- Hot Mom - She's still being a good-looking woman despise her age, it does help she conceived Erma in her teens.
- Non Action Girl - She's the only member of the Felna family not involved in the military or in politics, since she's a school professor and a writer instead.

- Bigger Is Better in Bed - She really loves to hanging around with guys bigger than her, especially in bed.
- Cool Big Sis - Towards Rojigo.
- Did I Just Say That Out Loud? - In the side-story when Toki meets Erma as cadets, Toki sings a lullaby when she's sleeping and Erma points that out to her the next day. Obviously, Toki was ashamed of this.
- Ensemble Darkhorse - Despise only appearing during the first Story Arc and not being mentioned at all during the second one, she is one of the most popular characters from the series, and more of her backstory is explained in side-stories and supplementary materials.
- Genki Girl
- Interspecies Romance - She loves to engage in those kind of relationships often, despise being a mouse. One of her first boyfriends was a feline, for gods' sake!
- IKEA Erotica - Played for laughs in her side-story, much for Erma's dismay in her sleep.
- Lady of War - But not in the same extent as Erma
- Lovable Sex Maniac
- Name's the Same - Toki shares the same name with some human, male and silver-haired Messianic fighter.
- No Sense of Personal Space - This is the way how Toki befriends Erma in her side-story, much for her dismay.
- Odd Friendship - Her friendship with Erma can be considered as this, due to their conflicting personalities, and their species.
- Only One Name - According with some supplementary materials, her last name is "Zha", but is never used in-series.

- Rank Up - She was a cadet in her side-story, but she was promoted, off-screen, to Squadron Commander.

Tavas Ikalik
Erma's former lover at the beginning of the series.

- Karma Houdini: Even after destroying Erma's life for good, letting the ILR to bomb Dornthant, letting millions of innocent civilians dying in the process and becoming the planetary governor, the only punishment he received (according with the epilogue of the first Story Arc) was being forgotten by his peers due of his fears of being killed by the ones he replaced after the attack.
- Love Makes You Evil - He is maybe one of poster boys of this trope. He LITERALLY makes Erma's life a living hell, including letting the ILR to raze Dornthant to hell, sabotaging Alfon's (Erma's boyfriend and Rojigo's father) aerodyne and killing him in the process and also destroying (without killing them) Erma's WHOLE family.)
