  • Boring but Practical: Alberto Del Rio's arm bar finisher.
    • Except it's a floatover armbar and looks wicked awesome.
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: His personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez.
    • Oh god yes. So much so that when he showed up in Alberto's stead at the 2012 Royal Rumble (doing a parody of Alberto's entrance and driving The Alleged Car), he got face-like pops and some of the fans even got a chant going for him.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Is, unsurprisigly, extremely over in Mexico, considering his lineage and the fact that he wrestled there as Dos Caras Jr before his time in WWE.
  • Jack of All Stats: Del Rio's PPV matches tend to feature him doing a bit of everything. He's got a couple of power moves, some moves usually used by 'speed-type' wrestlers, a bit of mat work, some pretty wicked strikes...and, of course, the Cross Armbreaker.
  • Narm Charm: "I'm handsome! I'm powerful! I'm RICH! I'M EVERYTHING!!"
