• Angst? What Angst?: Arguably Namitha after her cousin and mentor is brutally murdered. She actually does react, but is strangely good at hiding it outwardly.

• Anti-Hero: As the main page says, the Careers, but possibly some others as well, such as Tod and Kizzy.
• Fridge Horror: The Capitol hasn't just been sending children to the Games for 75 years as in the original books. There have been 404 Hunger Games before the series even starts. That's at least 9,722 children sent into the Games. All to cover up the existence of District Fourteen, apparently...
