Aydin Paladin is a YouTuber whose main specialty is long-form commentary videos on various topics, such as politics, news, social psychology, media psychology, human communication and memes. While very outspoken with her views, she also makes plentiful use of her background as an academic in the social sciences. Thus, while the end results are comparable to Sargon of Akkad in a sense, there's an added intellectual yet grounded air to her videos.

Her YouTube account. active since January 2017, can be found here

Aydin Paladin provides examples of the following tropes:
  • Big Name Fan: Both Sargon of Akkad and Styxhexenhammer666 are shown to know her.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Aydin's usual voice can come across as this, especially given some of the stuff she covers.
  • Granola Girl/Soapbox Sadie: Subverted. Although her overall appearance, be it her penchant for dyed hair and academic background, give the impression, Aydin not only expresses more libertarian and Right-wing views. But also has a beef with those who do live up to this trope.
  • Hidden Depths: On top of her academic credentials, she's also revealed how she's active as an anon in Image Boards and in particular, a veteran of 4chan's /pol/.
  • Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: Some of her videos place an emphasis on how the antics of certain ideologues and activists, in trying to justify themselves, are not only counterproductive at best. But at worse, are cultivating the very strawmen and worst-case scenarios that they feign to be fighting against.
  • Shown Their Work: Aydin makes a conscious effort to do her research when it comes to her commentaries, complete with annotations, varied sources and her own input.
  • Signature Style: Many of her videos, in addition to showing '80s-esque aesthetics and an animated avatar version of her, tend to be long-form commentaries that can go for as long as an hour. Justified, however, in that she tries her best not to simply do her research, but also give viewers as much context and information as possible without condescending to them.
  • Straw Misogynist: A recurring insult thrown against her by critics, given her political views and her remarks on feminism. Aydin, though, has also been more than forthcoming in responding to said critics.
