Episodes Fifteen (Night) and Sixteen (Revelations) focus on the budding relationship with Hinoki and Keita as they go out on their promised date. While the majority of fifteen has Keita trying to impress Hinoki and create the right mood to kiss her, he ends up at Hinoki's old home. It turns out the Hinoki brought him here because she didn't want to visit her home alone and need some sort of moral support. She apologies to Keita for bringing him there but he responds that he didn't mind if he was of help. Hinoki gives a bit of back story to her and her family and how she was close to her brother Mario. There is a nice little tickle scene that ensues after Hinoki's apology. Episode sixteen has Keita and Hinoki trapped by the old priest who places a barrier to protect them from the battles that are ensuing from the episode. While trapped in the barrier, Keita tries to create a mood in order to kiss Hinoki, but ends up comforting her instead. By the end of the episode, it shows that Hinoki has fallen asleep hugging Keita while Keita himself is holding Hinoki in a way in which it looks like he is protecting her.
