Having watched the anime and read the manga of Prison School, I can't say I'd recommend it

I've watched the anime of Prison School and read a decent portion of the manga, and while I can see why it would appeal to certain people, I consider it a bad user of it's signature tropes and massive case of Fetish Retardant.
For starters, when get past it's frankly ridiculous premise, it's core appeal is to milk the Abusively Sexy Woman trope to death, and I'd have to say it does a very bad job of using the trope.
For starters, it's a Sadist Show where the girls pretty much get to treat the guys like slaves and (non-lethally) torture them femdom style, but it generally misses the sexy mark by a mile and usually falls into just being portrayed as downright mean.
I'll admit I've occasionally found stupidly hot dominatrix type women sexy, but in the case of this anime, I spent far more time feeling sorry for the guys and wincing at all the frankly lopsided abuse they have to go through than I ever did thinking the female protagonists were remotely sexy for making them go through it.
Second, I tried hard to find redeeming qualities in the ladies, and I kept coming up blank. They aren't in Complete Monster territory, but it's very hard to find them sympathetic when they get away with both sexual and non-sexual degradation that they often inflict on the guys, half the time because they blow misunderstandings out of proportion, and the other half of the time they openly revel in causing pain because they can.
Finally, the show and manga are horribly contrived. Practically every situation where the ladies find an excuse to wail on the guys for something is flagrantly telegraphed, to the point you usually guess what will happen as soon as you start to see the scene in question. On a related note, the show and manga do try to balance this out by having the ladies wind up in undignified, fanservicey positions, but even these scenes are horribly contrived and seem more like a frail apology for the fact they otherwise get no comeuppance for being sadists than being actual balance.
