(Note: I don't know how to write reviews here and put them in the Review Category properly).

I'm here to talk about the pros and cons of Uplay (2018). Recommended apps: Google authenicator (iphones/androids), Last Pass, or Windows authenicator (Windows Phones). One needs them to protect the games from pirates.

The Pros are that Uplay now works well with Steam to the point that I won't complain, it just launches well. There's even an offline mode, but I haven't experimented to see if it works with Steam (There's new features there that I don't know about, since I don't use them yet or is still clueless). Also, the customer support is very helpful and excellent, they're even on Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit (Even though reddit is a wonky bad place to go to find a Ubisoft tech support guy).

The Cons are basically this: Ubisoft still uses potato servers, even though Uplay is way better now, I ran into some glitches personally. Seeing the crazy stuff in the r/uplay, r/ubisoft, and even in the official forums tells me that Ubisoft's Steam clone is not out of the water yet and the tech support is spread thin. Also, the Steam! Uplay is an old version, that's basically a trap whenever someone buys their first Ubisoft game from Steam. - Since, its' still there; if a gamer does some research they must download the latest client from the main website to avoid half/most of the horror stories. Also, gamers are basically screwed if they don't have the phone apps that I mention earlier. To top it all off, this is Ubisoft I'm dealing with, this company is really paranoid about pirates and hackers that they'll put layers upon layers of DRM just to protect a game from pirates (I have issues with other companies doing anti-consumer DRMs, but knowing that the French company goes over 9,000 DRMs and likes the "There Is No Kill Like Overkill" trope a lot). I dunno how you feel about this, but how would one feel about the several programs, DRMs, Anti-Tampers, and I don't know what else that are running alongside both Uplay and Steam when one plays?

Conclusion: Buy a console and whatever Ubisoft game you want. Less hoop jumping, less worrying, and Uplay is not as extreme with the consoles.

The article needs still needs work.

This is based on what I see in reddit and some of Ubisoft's forums alone.

Now I need to do a Uplay (Sugar Wiki) (and the other tropes that I was planning to do or left hanging).
