The Trope: A character's breasts get bigger through magic or science.

Played Straight: Alice decides to get breast implants
Exaggerated: Alice decides to get the biggest breast implants she can afford, but they end up being so big she can't stand up anymore.
Justified: Alice hates her flat chest, and wants to fix it.
Inverted: Alice gets a breast reduction because her natural breasts are uncomfortably large.
- Gender Flip: Bob makes his penis larger, or Bob gets breasts.
Subverted: Alice tries expanding her breasts but ends up having to get a breast reduction because the doctor botched the operation.
Double Subverted: ...but then gets hit with a Breast Expansion ray gun.
Parodied: Alice is showing off her new implants at a party, when a jealous rival pops her implants and they deflate like ballons...or Alice is showing off her new implants at a party when they start expanding out of control and explode.
Deconstructed: Alice is an A-cup who gets breast implants because she wants to be popular. However it backfires as her friends and family now view her as shallow and while she's popular with the men, it's not in the way she wanted it to be
Reconstructed: Alice is an A-cup who gets huge breast implants because she wants to be popular; she finally gains some self-esteem, finds a loving boyfriend, starts a family, and becomes a glamor model.
Zig-Zagged: Alice gets huge breast implants, but the weight and jeers are too much and she decides to have them removed...but then she realizes she liked being busty, so she gets even bigger ones the second time.
Averted: Alice is flat chested but the subject of breast expansion never comes up.
