  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The Bringing Up Father Christmas annual (usually reprinting strips from the 1930's-1960's) has been a tradition in Norway since 1930.
  • Unfortunate Implications: The strip tended to avoid the "blackface" common at the time, but occasional sprinklings came out. One Indian Rajah was depicted as a stereotypical big-lipped Afro, apparently due to the artists' lack of understanding what someone from India looked like.
