Candorville/Headscratchers

WARNING! There are unmarked Spoilers ahead. Beware.

This entry is SPOILER-TASTIC, but I'm not going to spoiler the entire question, so be warned. We know from Saxon that Roxanne can't drink human blood or she'll lose her magical protection. Her statements indicate she intends to eat Lemont's lawyer. What's she gonna do, drain the blood from him and eat his flesh like he's a piece of kosher meat? If so, what does she get out of doing so? Is it mere sadism, is it the closest she can get to drinking that wonderful, addictive blood, or does she still require some sort of nutrients from humans?
- It wouldn't exactly be the first comic to make a joke implying that lawyers were less than human.
