When TV Tropes gets bad press or looks foolish for deleting (or ignoring) a trope or work, they may split the difference by graciously acknowledging its existence with a page, but refusing to say or cite anything in the least bit controversial (at least as far as their advertisers are concerned) on it. These are pages which exist both here and on TV Tropes, but which have had their allegedly "offensive" content removed on the latter.
