Category:Pages with copied descriptions

All The Tropes is a place where writers are encouraged to write. Simply copying the description of a work from another site goes against that goal. Copying a description from a copyrighted source, such as a book's dust jacket or a movie's IMDB entry, also leaves us open to copyright lawsuits.

So, if you see a page that has a description copied from somewhere else, either re-write the description or add {{page needs original description}} to the page, immediately below the Trope, Work, or Creator tag.

Adding an original description doesn't mean replacing a few words with synonyms in each sentence. It means re-starting from a blank page, writing something new.
