• Hey, It's That Voice!: Danny is Scott Bakula. Jasmine Guy (speaking) and Natalie Cole (singing) as Sawyer, Don Knotts as T.W. Turtle, Kathy Najimy as Tilly, Lindsay Ridgeway as Darla Dimple's singing voice...to name a few.
• Non-Singing Voice: With a few characters:
  • Don Knotts's (T.W. Turtle) brief singing role is filled by session singer Rick Logan.
  • For the singing role, Ashley Peldon (Darla Dimple) was replaced by Lindsay Ridgeway.
  • For Sawyer, the non-singing voice was provided by Jasmine Guy. Singing, Natalie Cole takes over.
• Screwed by the Studio: Just before the film came out, Time-Warner purchased Turner and put it on a crowded Easter holiday weekend while giving it next to no marketing whatsoever.
• Shout-Out: As noted on the main page, Danny's character and design are based on Gene Kelly -- who played characters named "Danny" in several of his films.
