  • No Export for You: Was the case for many years, then in 2011 it was announced it would finally be getting an official translation along with a new translation of the Sailor Moon manga (based on the newer edition).
  • What Could Have Been: Not one but two different versions of a Codename: Sailor V anime entered pre-production at different times, but neither was made. One version had (during early planning) the main characters Minako Aino, Minako's best friend Hikaru Sorano, miko Miyabi Yoronu, and sukeban Mamoru Chino. There are a handful of concept stills floating around the Internet, a few of which can be seen at this page on the fan site Tuxedo Unmasked.
