Hollywood Homely: The embassy representative that Annie must get to turn her remarks that no one pays her any attention because she isn't good looking. Considering a few scenes prior she's wearing (quite well) a cocktail dress that shows off quite a bit, it's... not a convincing complaint.

↑ A particularly ironic example, given that Auggie, who was more of an Action Hero prior to his "accident" and resulting disability, is now mainly a Tech Guy; whereas Jake Foley was a Tech Nerd who got accidentally injected with nanobots which gave him superpowers and turned him into an Action Hero. Nice character inversion there.
