Crasshing Through Trees
The Glass Man feels really damn guilty. He's just realized that he's pretty much killed everyone by showing them Marble Hornets. To make things worse, he's seing really weird dimensional tears, the Slender Man is closing in on him and his friends, and then his friend Adrian decides to start spreading the myth on purpose. Realizing the seriousness of this, he decides to kill him, which does not work at all.
With his mind severely warped, The Glass Man sets out to recklessly kill anything he perceives as a danger, be it Slender Man's servants or other people that are being stalked.
Tropes used in Crasshing Through Trees include:
- Ax Crazy: The Glass Man is particularly indiscriminate in who he kills, and this instability made him very dangerous to others.
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel: All moments featuring his moments in the field with Slender Man.
- Also, all moments so far featuring Ferus, who is witnessed disemboweling a man with his bare hands.
- Knight Templar: The Glass Man fully believes that what he does is necessary for the greater good, even when he burns a group of people to death with a molotov cocktail after blocking all the exits.
- Mind Rape: A key part of the initial plot. The Glass Man's mind was so heavily damaged that for over a month he was unable to write properly.
- Manchurian Agent: For a considerable time, the Glass Man hunted Zero of A Hint of Serendipity in order to punish him for his own killing spree. As it turns out, he had been subconsciously reprogrammed by Slender Man himself to believe this was the right thing.
- That Man Is Dead: The Glass Man has had such a sever breakdown that it would be completely accurate to say that he is no longer at all the person who started the blog.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Whether choosing murder as the best way to solve a problem, breaking a man's kneck with his foot, burning down a building full of people that are technically on his side, stabbing a man to death as he begs for mercy or shooting a prisoner in the head without a moment's hesitation, the Glass Man has a tendency of raising eyebrows.
