Cross Ange/Heartwarming

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • While Jill and the other Arzenal Norma may not be the nicest people around to Ange, they do mourn and pay respects to their own fallen, especially since they know their captors don't give a damn about them.
  • Also, in it's own incredibly twisted, rather extreme way, Jill was Cruel to Be Kind to Ange as a form of this in retrospect, as she basically put Ange through all the hell she did (and allowed Zola to inflict by proxy) in the hopes Ange would cast off her delusions and realize she had to accept her current lot in life, horrid though it may be. This finally bore the fruit she apparently hoped for in Episode 3, and Ange was rather traumatized, but, considering the circumstances, more mentally equipped to deal with being a Norma in a penal battalion.
