Crossover Central^{[dead link]} is a Forum Role Play on Ace Attorney Online created by Enigma, and one of the most popular after Endless Time. Set in an inter-continuity world, where everything out of all media exists in reality, the heroes of various worlds and universes come together to defeat a mutual enemy.

Action Bomb: Creeper has tried to use his kamikaze powers against Wesker, though it didn't go so well.
Action Girl: Every single female character. Especially Black Cat.
Adaptation Distillation: Spider-Man - despite the incarnation featured being the Movie version, Spider-Man has the majority of non-contradictory memories from his Amazing counterpart. For example, he has memoires of prior meetings with Deadpool and Black Cat, despite neither being shown on screen. (Despite Black Cat being featured in the 2004 Spider-Man 2 video game.)
Anticlimax Boss: Arguably Wilfre but definitely Vile and Dark Dubsy.
- Fiscal could be considered the first aversion. It was still a pretty short fight but considering the initial point of the arc was just to celebrate a page number, it isn't too big a deal.
Anyone Can Die: Heroes and Villains alike have died.
- In a bit of a twist, the GM's Author Avatar, Dubsy, was killed in a battle against Spider-Man and GLaDOS.
- The list so far: Sonic, Kazooie, Dahlia, Banjo, Vile, Durzo, Dubsy and Fiscal.
Arch Enemy: Spider-Man and Onic are this to each other. Spider-Man considers Onic to be everything Sonic failed to be, and believes he is now lost to the darkness. Onic craves revenge on Spider-Man for his previous humiliating defeat at the webslinger's black-suited hands. He is now hatching a plot to do so.
- Spider-Man is attracting these like flies, with Onic (See above), Wesker, who remembers him from Marvel VS Capcom 3 and wants to kill or capture him and use him as a test subject, and Dean Fiscal, who wants him to give in to the Black suit. Plus, the villains have said in no uncertain terms that Spider-Man is target number one and needs to be taken out pronto.
- A case could be made for Norman and Dahlia, as each represents what the other hates.
- Speaking of Dahlia, obviously Banjo hated her more than anyone, even though their battle was soon over.
Ascended Extra: Ragtok the Giga Reaper, a seemingly throwaway mini-boss in the Nightmare Castle arc... who is now back in Crossover Central on the villains' team.
Author Avatar: Dubsy. What, did you think he was just an ordinary reality-warping cartoon with a hat? No, silly, he's the GM!
- Word of God claims he is the Creator's hero from Drawn to Life. So he falls under NCP.
Author Powers: The only reason Dubsy is still alive. Or was.
- Recently became Dark Dubsy, who is now battling Spider-Man and GLaDOS. Unfortunately for him, even the GM's powers were not enough to save him.
Badass in Distress: Spider-Man first got turned into a Neo-Venom by Fiscal and had to be rescued by Kisuke. He was then kidnapped soon after by Specter. Wilfre once attempted to control GLaDOS and Spider-Man had to save her, with help from Deadpool. Sonic also suffered a slight case of death at the hands of GLaDOS so Spider-Man attempted to bring him back. It didn't go so well.
Badass Normal: Quite a few. Marth and Norman are the biggest examples.
Blow You Away: Aya has power over air.
Blue and Orange Morality: Immediately after helping the others stop Wilfre, Deadpool makes it his personal mission to kill Skulduggery Pleasant before Lord Vile attacks.
Berserk Button: Spider-Man's black suit. See Curb Stomp Battle below.
Blondes Are Evil: Parsee is an example of this.
Body Surf: Glitch.
Character Exaggeration: Vegeta. To the max.
- "You will all die!"
- "How dare you say that! Everyone wants to buy my cookies!"

Vegeta, after someone ripped his running gear and after Deadpool told him to ring the doorbell respectively.

Cluster F-Bomb: The thread gets hit by a surprisingly imaginative troll. It starts to get pretty ridiculous.
- "ROW MY BOAT DOWN THE SEEMLY [Censored] CRACK
- "@%?$&! PARAPLEGIC WALRUS #&$@ER"
  - In a bittersweet moderation victory, the offending posts were all removed. This leads Deadpool to have a short breakdown as he feels the posts (and the troll's existence) forcefully ripped out of his mind.
Clothing Damage: Spider-Man and Deadpool have both suffered clothing damage over the course of the role-play.
- Deadpool seems to have an infinite amount of masks.
  - Spider-Man's current level of damage is akin to his costume's state near the end of Spider-Man 3, but with an intact mask.
    - It Gets Worse after the special. His suit is badly damaged and he only has half his mask left.
      - Until what's left of the mask is given to Vegeta's dog, that is.
Comes Great Responsibility: Pretty obvious.
Continuity Nod: Spider-Man and Albert Wesker remember each other from the events of Marvel VS Capcom 3. As you can guess, nether is very happy to see the other. This also extends to Deadpool.
Courtroom Antic: In his debut, Vash gets put on trial for the murder of Dahlia Hawthorne... With Judge Deadpool residing, of course. Guns are involved.
Crossover: Yeah... no explanation needed here.
Creator Worship: The actual game master plays and is worshiped as the creator.
Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Kisuke Urahara usually just provides some non-fourth wall breaking comic relief, but when he gets serious, watch out.
Completely Missing the Point: Many a Deadpool moment.
Curb Stomp Battle: A combination of a flawed emotion manipulation with the symbiotic Black Suit allows Spider-Man to deal one of these to Onic the Hedgehog, to the point to which the latter is beaten into unconsciousness.
- And this curbstomp battle came immediately after another curbstomp battle, in which Onic knocked out Parsee with a single slap.
- The fight between Deadpool and Skulduggery Pleasant can barely even be called a fight.
- Though technically not a battle, Lord Vile who had almost killed everyone in CC was just shot and killed by a mysterious new comer, Glitch.
- Poor, Poor, Charlie.
- Averted with Wesker, who despite fighting on the losing side of 3 on 1, he actually seems to be fighting on even terms. Played straight with the Creeper, who Wesker Roflstomps by shooting him 3 times.
- The duel between Kisuke and Vader eventually descends into this, once Vader gets the Force involved against a tired Kisuke.
Death Is Cheap: Sonic, Vegeta and Rainbow Dash were all killed by a giant meteor. All 3 were revived, some of them even gaining new powers in the process. However, Sonic was later Killed Off for Real.
Despair Event Horizon: Banjo changes completely after Kazooie's death. Had he survived the battle, he'd have only gone on to suicide.
Disc One Final Boss: The big bad Wilfre is defeated, all is well... then he runs back to the true(presumably) Big Bad, gets killed and the roleplay moves into chapter two.
Dodge the Bullet: Almost everyone who has had any sort of projectile fired at them has done this.
- When applied to Darth Vader, the bullet dodges him.
The Dragon: Wilfre was this to Vile and Shadow has become this to Parsee.
Evil Plan: Specter has one for taking the emeralds from Spider-Man and it requires quite a bit of preparation. He doesn't take too kindly to Onic disrupting it.
Evil Versus Evil: Onic gets jealous of Wilfre's appreciation of Parsee and gets into a brief fight with her.
Evil Laugh: Wilfre during the first chapter/ season.
Evil Twin: In a way, Onic.
Exactly What It Says on the Tin: It's one huge crossover. What else do you need to know?
Fan Nickname: As a Shout-Out, Deadpool references Jayden by his beloved Fan Nickname Nahman.
Flanderization: Mostly Vegeta, Onic, Parsee and Deadpool.
Fusion Dance: Onic and Vegeta fuse to create the half-cool half-terrifying Onigeta. They use this amazing power to stack toothpicks and look at stars.
Good Cop, Bad Cop: Norman and Marth do this with Dahlia.
Gorn: The damage the manipulated Deadpool takes during his fight against some of the heroes is... pretty heavy.
Green-Eyed Monster: Parsee.
Green Eyes: Sonic, Kazooie and Parsee, though they don't hold much meaning for the former.
Handicapped Badass: Darth Vader, obviously.
Heel Face Turn: Welkin appeared to but it's still unclear what side he's on. Parsee also joined the heroes for about 3 minutes before plotting to kill them again.
- Oh good grief, Dubsy snaps and tries to kill everyone , only to be defeated and return to normal...then commit suicide.
  - Face Heel Turn
Hoist by His Own Petard: Dahlia is stabbed by the blades of her own suit.
Hostage for Macguffin: Specter plans to trade Spider-Man for the remaining Chaos Emeralds. Or rather, make this out to be his intention and then kill Spider-Man anyway.
Idiot Hero: The self proclaimed "Protector of Crossover Central" is an idiotic half circle known as Dubsy.
Karma Houdini: Welkin assisted Dahlia and attempted to kill multiple heroes but has been allowed to join the good guys since they need all the help they can get, indicating he may never get his just desserts.
- And recently his player has said that he no longer intends to play as him.
Killed Off for Real: Sonic the Hedgehog had his spine snapped by GLaDOS.
Joke Weapon: For the Crossover Arsenal, Marth is more or less forced to pick a Nail Bat of all things for his weapon. While normally it would be a good weapon, compared to most of the other weapons, it qualifies. May eventually become a Lethal Joke Item though.
Jerkass: Parsee, Wilfre and Deadpool sometimes.
- Well, Wilfre's a bit beyond being a mere jerkass.
Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Kazooie cares little for manners but is always eager to do the right thing... a little too eager for her own good in the end.
Literal Split Personality: Deadpool.
Like an Old Married Couple: Jayden and Urahara. Well, sorta.
The Man Behind the Man: Wilfre may have seemed to be pulling the strings but Vile was pulling Wilfre's strings all along. Although it turns out that Glitch was really pulling the strings of both Vile and Wilfre.
Moral Dissonance: The Doctor offering to help Creeper, then just walking away.
No Fourth Wall: Deadpool, naturally. Lampshaded at one point where he yells at the part of his mind under Wilfre's control for not reading all of Marth's post during a fight.
- Norman makes a reference to the "filler episode" during his time in Crossover Arsenal.
- Dubsy and GLaDOS have a little conversation which completely nukes the fourth wall!
- At one point Glitch references the term "Chapters."
- After Dubsy is revealed to be an Author Avatar, he addresses GLaDOS by the name of her player.
- Even the Trigun guys get a bit of this: In a "Deleted Scene", Vash makes an Incredibly Lame Pun about the puzzle they are trying to solve.

Wolfwood: "A puzzle, now?"
Vash: "Well it certainly is..." *Puts on glasses* "...Quite the Enigma!"

- And again in a conversation with Pinkie Pie.

Vash: "And how did you know my name? I don't recall telling you..."
Wolfwood: "She can break the fourth wall. Don't worry about it."
Vash: "Break the what now?"

- Kazooie used to do this a bit.
Off the Rails: Pretty much everything, since Author Avatar Dubsy showed up...
Only Mostly Dead: Wilfre, presumed dead but he lives on in Onic.
Only Sane Men: Spider-Man, Marth and Jayden seem to be showing realistic signs of the pressure from being separated from home. Aside from them, few are actually qualified for the term sane.
- And on the villain side, Darth Vader could qualify for this, having matured a lot since Revenge of the Sith, to the point of which he mentally realizes the insanity of others, and is actually calm and calculating for most of the time.
Power Levels: Vegeta brought his scouter to Crossover Central. Spider-Man somehow reaches 13,000, if only for dramatic effect.
Psycho for Hire: Deadpool.
Punched Across the Room: Well, it's a slap and it's outside but this trope happens to Parsee when Onic gets mad at her.
Put on a Bus: GLaDOS, due to her writer wanting to switch characters. The ability for all players to have 2 characters was added not too long afterwards.
- And what do you know? She came back a while after the 'buddy system' was introduced.
- The rest of the cast couldn't care less about Laharl by this point.
- This has happened to Norman and Welkin TWICE! Norman due to issues with the writer's RL, and Welkin because his writer kept getting banned for spamming. Welkin is going to be gone for about another 2 1/2 months....
  - Various characters have got on and came back on the bus, some never returning due to loss of interest or RL issues.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech: Urahara gives one to Onic.
Red Eyes, Take Warning: Specter, Shadow, Onic and also Vegeta while he was under Wilfre's contol.
- Subverted with Aya, who is against Specter's plans despite being in his group.
Royal Rapier: Just like in his games, Marth uses one.
Save the Villain: Subverted. Specter saves Ragtok the Giga Reaper from Urahara trying to finish him off, though he was doing it to try to win some trust and to be able to have Ragtok join him later on. Played straight earlier when Marth saved Onic from Parsee.
Serial Killer: On top of the murders she commited in Ace Attorney, Dahlia kills two others during the roleplay.
Spanner in the Works: Onic in the battle with Wilfre got jealous of a more-powerful-than-usual Parsee and slapped her unconscious. Wilfre was distracted by this in his fury, leaving himself open to attack, which led to his defeat. Onic may now be doing it again, going off where the heroes are alone instead of staying put like Specter told him to. He's already being cornered by three of the heroes.
Sunglasses at Night: Norman Jayden.
- Now includes Albert Wesker.
Super Villain: Most of the villains in CC fall under this, most notably Wilfre.
Sword Fight: The RP's combat style has finally begun including these, beginning with the large scale lightsaber battle in Nightmare Castle.
Take a Third Option: Specter tries to do this when Fiscal threatens to keep Spider-Man as a Neo-Venom if everyone doesn't serve him by destroying Fiscal's ring. It doesn't work and Kisuke ends up having to make the decision.
Take Over the World: Wilfre, Dahlia, Parsee and Specter all have tried or are still trying to.
That Was Objectionable: Pretty much everything in the aforementioned Trial Sequence.
They Fight Crime: Norman, Spider-Man, and Marth originally, but now includes Cadea, Kisuke, and a few others.
Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: The characters of the Roleplay have divided into 3 main groups: Team Heroes, who are in possession of 6 of the 7 Chaos Emeralds and are trying to get home while defending CC. Team Villains, who possess the last Chaos Emerald, and are trying to kill the heroes and use the Emeralds to rule over CC. And Team GM, the characters controlled by the GM who want to rule over CC for unexplained reasons and may or may not be connected. There are also smaller groups that work by themselves to achieve their own goals or simply stay out of the fighting altogether.
Unstoppable Rage: See Curb Stomp Battle above.
- Spider-Man, GLaDOS, and Wolfwood, during the Dark Dubsy battle. GLaDOS literally erases Dark Dubsy, and Wolfwood nearly blows him to bits with his Punisher.
Villain Team-Up: Aside from from the main villain group, we have Darth Vader and Albert Wesker in their own faction. While they plan to join the main villains, Wesker only plans to do so until he has no more use for them and then get rid of them.
You Have Failed Me...: Glitch kills Wilfre and Vile when they fail in their plans.
