Daiakuji

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.
Akuji's aunt.

An Eroge by AliceSoft released in 2001 that is the spiritual prequel to Daibanchou and Daiteikoku.

In a parallel universe, extreme feminist Womenrica wins World War II, and forces a female-centric constitution upon the defeated Japan. Japanese city governments outsource the task of peacekeeping to local organizations, all lead by women.

Yamamoto Akuji is the rightful successor of the Wakame, the largest gang in the city of Oosaka. He was captured as a POW during the war, and has finally returned home after three years of imprisonment. However, he returns to a home he no longer recognizes. He is no longer the successor of his grandfather's organization, as his father's concubine, Ichihashi Ran, has taken over control of the Wakame.

After getting beat up by Ran's guards, Akuji is taken in by a Youth Service Group where he convinces them to support his cause. He then starts his mission to take over all of Oosaka and restore the old order to all of Japan by defeating Ran and regaining control over what should be his...

Not to be confused with daikaiju.

Directed by TADA, who also directed Kichikou Rance. Published by Alicesoft.

Tropes used in Daiakuji include:
  • Apologetic Attacker: The Wakame henchmen are clearly very reluctant to fight against him and their loyalty to Ran is clearly more based on the fact that WIME will wipe them out if they disobey her. Therefore, they outright apologize after beating him on the prologue and leaving her for dead.
  • Alternate Universe
  • Always Someone Better: Akuji's grandfather, Yamamoto Ippatsu, is an even bigger chick magnet than Akuji is with lovers all around Japan.
  • Anti-Hero: Akuji and his group are fighting to stop a misandrist group from wiping out men from the planet. Akuji also rapes some of his attempted assassins and sells them off to be sex slaves.
  • Anti-Villain: Aoba and her Youth Service Group are clearly not on board with WIME's ridiculously misandrist schemes, but the crime rate on Osaka has skyrocketed since the end of the war and men are not allowed in any position of power, so they had to pick up the weight. The villain part ceases entirely once Akuji takes over the group.
  • Arc Words: The number of times you hear about "staying used to it" from factions associated with WIME will put a strain on your nerves.
  • Asshole Victim: A lot of Akuji's rape victims that get sold as sex slaves are assassins or members of WIME.
  • Babies Ever After: Has three daughters with Nogi Kikujo in her ending if you marry her. In the non canon Daiakuji The Xenobuster 7, he has a boy and a girl with his half aunt, Takega Satsu.
  • Badass Adorable: Satsu is a cute, petite, preteen schoolgirl, who is also armed with a huge rocket launcher.
  • Bare Your Midriff: Akuji wears a shirt who exposes his belly for no particular reason other than showing his muscles.
  • Big Bad: Ehavilla Mecco is the leader of WIME and therefore the biggest threat to Akuji's plans to regain power. She is also a nasty misandrist.
  • Bigger Is Better in Bed: Some women have shown shock at how big Akuji's penis is, but Tomoko kind of mocks the concept that alone makes a men good in bed, delivering a blow to Takuji's ego despite the fact he had just sex with her and she enjoyed it.
  • Born in the Wrong Century: Ai behaves like she is a samurai. As, from the Sengoku era. That confuses the hell out of Akuji.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: Akuji was trained to harness his chi by his combat instructor, Oosugi Tsuyoshi. He was even trained in the art of seduction by Kanbara Yuka.
  • Chick Magnet:
    • Akuji knows his way to charm women. Even female assassins eventually side with him while some fight over who will have sex with him, even though he is down with threesomes.
    • Akuji's grandfather is an even bigger chick magnet having had sex with thousands of women. Akuji claims to have tons of relatives he knows nothing about.
  • Curb Stomp Battle: Akuji is defeated first by his own men and then by the Youth Service Group for fighting with a drunk guy. It's justified by the fact he was heavily outnumbered in the first and then he was already on horrible condition by the second fight.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Akuji has committed rape, but only against attempted assassins. He was disgusted when Ichihashi Ran forces Akuji to have sex with Haku Minka against her will.
  • Face Death with Dignity: Yume and Tsukigase Nene have sex while the WIME headquarters burns.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: Ehavilla Mecco wear glasses and imposes a brutal sexist regime over Japan.
  • Hermaphrodite: Yume. She is a biological experiment created by WIME in their quest to replace men. She is killed when the WIME headquarters burns.
  • Hot Dad: Akuji if he becomes a father.
  • Hunk: Akuji is very muscular with black hair and a small scar on his chin. He also develops a huge harem.
  • Immortality Seeker: Ehavilla Mecco seeks to cheat death by transferring her consciousness into Takega Satsu. Akuji and Takega foil Ehavilla's scheme causing her to disintegrate.
  • Ladykiller in Love: Akuji can fall in love with and marry one of five girls in the game. He was also in love with Haku Minka until she hit a Despair Event Horizon after being raped. He marries Kaga Motoko in the 7th OVA (It's called six but starts numerically with Daiakuji: The Xena Buster 0).
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Ichihashi Ran took over the Wakame group and allowed Haku Minka to be raped by her super soldier Dekao and even forces Akuji to rape Haku himself by restraining him while Haku is forced onto his penis. When Akuji defeats Dekao, he tosses Ran in with Dekao and Dr. Suteki and overdoses them on Viagra allowing them to rape her nonstop.
  • The Last of These Is Not Like the Others: Romancing Haku Minka means Akuji can no longer have sex with other women, unlike all other romance options. That puts a serious strain on his ability to make money since he can no longer train prostitutes.
  • Meganekko: Tomoko is shy, cute, and wear glasses with a huge frame, fitting the trope to an T.
  • Mr. Fanservice: Akuji is muscular, handsome, well-endowed, and so good at sex, would be assassins join his cause or become willing sex slaves to earn him money.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Akuji's harem.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: Akuji is fairly strong and is the one who defeated Dekao. He also broke a pair of handcuffs after a threesome with Kanbara Yuka and Nogi Kikuko.
  • Sex Face Turn: Some female assassins join Akuji's cause because he is really really good at sex.
  • Sex God: Even Akuji's sex trainer, Kanbara Yuka, is easily aroused by him. His abilities in sex even turns would be assassins into willing sex slaves or allies.
  • Sex Slave: If you are a female assassin or work for Ichihashi or Womenrica and you go after Akuji, you might end up like this.
  • STD Immunity: Considering Akuji's grandfather had sex with thousands of women throughout Japan, it's safe to assume STDs don't exist in this universe.
  • Surpassed the Teacher: Considering that Kanbara Yuka, the woman who trained Akuji in the art of seduction is easily aroused by him pretty much proves he surpassed her.
  • Women Prefer Strong Men: Akuji is very muscular and strong and has his own harem.
