  • Crowning Moment of Awesome - So much. Mostly L's actions to save Raito, and Raito's plans.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny - Too many to count. L's cookie-addiction, Matt's antics, Raito's interactions with both of them... hilarious.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming - Raito saying that he doesn't really care about dying, and L becoming human... and Matt not being a Moment Killer
  • Draco in Leather Pants - The Kiras, Raito and Mello. The Psychopomps know how dangerous they are, but L falls for Raito nevertheless, as well as Near for Mello, and it's strongly hinted, that Matt fell for Mello as well.
  • Tear Jerker - The flashbacks about Near's story. And the idea in general, that if Raito's shinigami in the original stories were a little bit more empathic, he could have been so much better.
