A Plot
Sweetheart week has returned to Degrassi, but with the crackdown it's pretty lame. Adam and Eli are talking about who to cast in their play as the leading lady opposite Adam. Then Adam gazes upon Fiona. But he's still mad she was a no-show at the anti-crackdown party. Fiona explains that she wanted to come, but her great-aunt died. Fiona wants to make it up to him, and Adam suggests that he needs a leading lady for the play. Fiona says yes, as long as there's no singing.
At Fiona's audition, Adam can't stop staring at Fiona lovingly. Eli teases him a bit about him liking her and Fiona liking him. Adam is just worried she how she might react to him being transgender. Fiona's done and asks if she has the part, to which Eli says yes. But she'll need to catch up since she auditioned late. Fiona asks Adam to visit her in her condo in order to prepare and Adam gulps and says yes, "it's a date."
At Fiona's apartment, Adam marvels at Fiona's snow-globe collection while she pours out some champagne for herself. Adam ruins down the premise of the scene they're about to reherse: The inventor bringing the woman to life. Fiona asks if it is the kissing scene. Adam stutters and Fiona wants to skip right to kissing. They practice the scene, but Adam falters. He tells her before he kisses her, there's something she should know: he's transgender. To which Fiona simply says "okay." Adam is stunned, but Fiona explains that her mother's hairstylist is MtF and she's from New York and used to it. Adam tells her that girls aren't exactly lining up to kiss him, to which Fiona says she rather kiss him then anyone at Degrassi. Adam is all "Wait, what?" and then Fiona "accidentally" spills champagne on Adam. She apologizes and rushes off to get Declan's leftover clothes. While Adam is fumbling with Declan's tie, Fiona offers to help and adjusts it. Adam asks Fiona "truth or dare?" Fiona picks truth. Adam asks Fiona for the true reason she skipped his party. Fiona explains that Adam looks at her as a perfect princess, but she's far from it. And once he realizes it, he'll leave her. Adam tells her he'll never abandon her. Fiona looks a little ambivalent about Adam's declaration, and goes off for another drink. But then Adam grabs her arm and says "Your turn...dare." Fiona then kisses Adam passionately.
At the play rehearsal, Adam is still floating after what happened last night. Fiona then comes walking up and asks if she got his flowers. Fiona sighs tells Adam that last night, they were just caught in the moment and it didn't really mean anything. They were just having fun. Adam plays along, but he's devastated and confused.
Afterward, he talks to Eli about that night. While giving him the play by play, he mentions Fiona had been drinking. Eli tells him with alcohol, people's true feelings come out so there's possibly a chance Fiona does dig him. Adam goes to Fiona's apartment to drop off Declan's clothes. Also to tell Fiona that he's dropped out of the play. Fiona is shocked and asks why? Adam admits he just wanted to be close to her and now that he knows it's in his head, there's no point. Fiona says that it wasn't in his head and invites him in for dinner. But not before taking a drink. And pouring out another drink. Adam notices it and asks what's up. Fiona says it helps her relax and if Adam has a problem with it? Adam is uncomfortable but naively ignores it and he and Fiona kiss again.
Holly J comes to Fiona's apartment to get her history book, and she finds Adam and Fiona making out on the couch. Holly J is taken aback, and Fiona explains she and Adam were just rehearsing. Holly J notices Fiona's drunk, and Fiona says that she only had two drinks. Adam vouches for her, but Holly J isn't buying it. She tells Adam to keep an eye on her and how to deal with her and to contact her with there's any issues. She leaves, and Fiona sloshes around Adam lamenting how Holly J is uptight. While drinking another glass of champagne. Adam looks at her uncomfortably, finally realizing her drinking isn't for relaxing.
B Plot
Anya is still smitten with Dr. Chris but also worried about her mom. Today is the day she finds out if the radiation for her cancer worked. But at Dr. Chris's office there's good news: the cancer is gone! Anya and her mom are ecstatic, but of course this would mean Anya wouldn't be able to see Dr. Chris anymore. As she leaves, she sees in Dr. Chris's notebook that he's going to the Pizza Leslie that evening.
In the cafe, Anya feels crappy that she can't stop thinking Dr. Chris and not her mother. Holly J inquires on just who this guy is and Anya reveals he's a doctor. Holly J is practically shaking her head, but Anya can't stop gushing about him. Anya figures out that she needs to spend more time with him -- at the pizza restaurant. With Holly J accompany her, since she's dating her ex and all. At the restaurant, Anya and Holly J are there ahead of Dr. Chris. They need to get his attention and Anya suggests Holly J fakes choking. Holly J's like "really?" to which Anya reminds her she fakes a pregnancy for her. Holly J helps her friend out and "chokes" and Dr. Chris comes right up and saves her. Anya is happy her scheme worked, but Dr. Chris just then tells her he needs to meet up with someone. Leslie. Anya is crushed.
The next day at school, Anya is still determined. She's convinced that girl was Just a Friend, and she decides to take some initiative. She calls up Dr. Chris, but chickens out and hangs up. But then Dr. Chris calls her back. She freaks out and answers the phone. She thanks him for saving Holly J and then Dr. Chris asks her out. Anya is so happy, especially she she learns the girl is Just a Friend. She makes date plans at Little Miss Steaks.
At Little Miss Steaks, Anya and Dr. Chris are casually chatting. He reveals that he's a huge dork and his real age -- 25. Anya is a little stunned and then says that she's 20...and a half. Anya and Dr. Chris hit it off especially after they talk nerdy to each other. Holly J (who's waiting on them) comes up and reminds Anya on her curfew. Dr. Chris is puzzled but Holly J saves telling him it's a self-imposed curfew. Anya and Dr. Chris flirt some more and and Anya seduces him and gets a kiss.
C Plot
Sweetheart week isn't exactly making Dave happy. As he grumbled at all the couples (especially at the two making out in front of the locker), a Grade 9 girl named Sadie, who's chilling sitting on the ground joins in with his grumbling. They both hit it off immediately and introduce themselves. Dave asks her out to The Dot tomorrow and Dave can't believe it. The next day, Dave is giddy and bragging about his date to Wesley and Connor. He points her out in media immersion and Wesley and Connor are impressed. Then Sadie stands up...she's tall. Very tall. Much taller than the short Dave. Wesley and Connor giggle to themselves while Dave turns red.
At The Dot, Dave and Sadie are on their date. They talk about their interests (including basketball) and as they stand to get order their food, he asks her for to sit down while he orders. Dave doesn't feel so comfortable standing next to her.
