So I'm goin' down the road, boys Seeking what I'm owed, boys And I know it must get better If far enough I go

Caitlin is giddy about her and Joey's upcoming nuptials and being in the Kevin Smith film. Kevin Smith is surprised and still thinking about their drunken kiss. A manic Craig stops off at Degrassi, and has a casual conversation with Spinner who's still doing catering for the movie. Craig is planning to spend the summer hiding out in Degrassi and make music for the movie. Meanwhile, filming is going on and Caitlin bombs her scenes badly. She storms off after Kevin yells at her for messing up her lines. Craig makes an appearance on set and presents his music to Smith and then runs off. Spinner goes up to Kevin and says Craig is planning on staying at Degrassi this summer and Kevin phones Joey. Joey and Caitlin have a nuclear argument which Craig overhears. Joey blames Caitlin for Craig's behavior and Caitlin accuses him of being strict and uncaring. After the fight, Caitlin runs off and meets up with Kevin.

Craig runs away from home, and is on the streets. He even starts playing guitar with a homeless guy, Skinny. While filming at Degrassi, Caitlin thanks Kevin for being a friend. Joey frantically also arrives at Degrassi after discovering Craig missing. While this is going on, Craig and the homeless guy are walking along and Skinny plans on robbing a guy, with Craig stops. Skinny then turns on Craig and beats him up and steals his 4,000 (Canadian) Dollar guitar. Kevin offers his help in finding Craig and has Joey make a live TV plead for Craig to come home and for any information. Craig ends up in a homeless shelter and the homeless shelter volunteer recognize him. Kevin and Caitlin meet one more time and Kevin offers sage advice in Caitlin pursuing her goals. At the homeless shelter, Craig is as maniac as ever and spills his guts and blames himself and illness for Joey and Caitlin's fighting.

Even with Craig safe, Caitlin and Joey argue. Caitlin and Joey realize that they've been fighting for far too long and realizes they cannot get married despite their love. Caitlin tend decides to take the Ryan's Planet job. When the last scene for Jay and Silent Bob Go Canadian, Eh is filmed, the whole school is there and Joey cannot bear to say goodbye to Caitlin and breaks down. Craig reassures him that he'll be there for Joey. Joey and Caitlin, share one final toast from across the room.
