Didou

Didou ("Louie" in most countries outside France except in the US, where he is known as Sam) is a animated series that is based on the book by Yves Got. The show was animated by French production company Millimages SA. All 117 episodes of the show is currently^[when?] available across 13 DVDs released in France.

No Export for You: (Un)surprisingly, the games. The show is also not airing in the US and many other countries as well (it seems that outside the UK and Europe, the show is only aired in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore). Thankfully, most online stores located in France do stock the DVDs, which is thankfully Bilingual and switches to address "Didou" as "Louie" in the English dubs. Unfortunately, the discs are region-locked to region-2 players only. Nothing a region-free player can't handle tho.
No Fourth Wall: Played straight.
- Non-Interactivity: As with most educational TV shows for pre-schoolers without a fourth wall, the show comes with a set of "viewers" (credited as The Hot Kool Kids in the English version of the show) that will provide Louie with a reply when he questions the viewers.
