Accidental Pervert: Accidentally groped Eclair and stripped her down to her panties, and saw Millhiore nude thrice.

Playing Against Type: A Nice Guy like Cinque is certainly a departure from his voice actor's better-known roles as an angsty teen whose yearning for his friends led him to the dark side, a cynic with a God complex who can kill with a black notebook, and a Kurdish war orphan who has vowed to end all war whatever the cost.
Simple Staff: He turns his Palladion into this. In Dash he also allows it to transform into a spear.
Spell My Name with an "S": Some fansubs translate his name as "Shinku", although its inscription in katakana implies it is a foreign name.
Summon Everyman Hero
You Can't Go Home Again: In Episode 2 of the first season, he discovers, much to his despair, that once summoned to Flonyard, he can never return home again. Ricotta ultimately found a way to do so, but it also ran the risk of wiping out his memories of Flonyard and barring him from returning. Turns out the mementos he left for his friends ultimately gave Ricotta a way to bring him back and restore his memories.

Princess of Galette, Millhiore's estranged childhood friend, and older sister of Gaul.

Abdicate the Throne: She originally planned on stepping down in favor of Gaul once he comes of age, but the prophecy of Millhiore's death forced her to stay for a little longer and lead Galette's march to Biscotti in order to steal Millhiore's two swords and let the ordained day pass without incident.
Aloof Big Sister: The once kind-and-loving big-sister figure to Millhiore suddenly became this by the time the war started.
