• At one point Clara and Athena are watching TV and there's a program on that talks about 8th Wonder. On it, a man is presenting his theory that there are actually two 8th Wonders (correct) and the 8th Wonder came from an island in the sky (also true but Clara doesn't know that). The proof? The man had photos of the original 8th Wonder from 20 years ago, and the "new" one. While they both looked similar, the way to tell they were different people was that the "old" 8th Wonder had bigger boobs than the "new" one. The funniest part is that Clara hears this and gets visibly pissed off, and Athena is standing behind her gleefully blushing and snickering.

Clara: "What are you giggling about?"

Athena: "Oh. N-nothing." (Continues giggling quietly.)

• One day there's a contest for 8th Wonder lookalikes, and Clara decides to show up and enter. She laughs to herself thinking she's a sure-win since she's the actual 8th Wonder. Athena also shows up at the contest, and while she wasn't actually there for the contest, she winds up winning it. According to the judges, it wasn't because she looked like 8th Wonder per say, so much as she seemingly embodied what being 8th Wonder was all about, in that when the contest was attacked by villains, Athena had helped get the judges and others lead people to safety (and Athena even saved the day, but no one saw that part). In the end, Clara is left complaining the she should've won because she IS the real 8th Wonder, and Athena is embarrassed, because she won (again, NOT because she looked like 8th Wonder), even though SHE is THE real 8th Wonder.
  • This gets funnier when you remember, technically, both are the REAL one, just one is the SUCCESSOR to the original, only one should have been retired.
• At one point, Clara winds up falling under the control of a micro-machine insect from a super villain named Puppet Master. She ends up going on a rampage and Athena is forced to fight her. During combat they end up causing lots of damage to NUDE headquarters, and despite every attempt to talk her down, Athena has no luck. Clara even picks up a stack of missiles and chucks them at Athena, they blow up and burn her clothes. We then see Athena emerge from the fire, and she looks PISSED. Like she just found out her daughter skipped school to go swimming, got brainwashed for being where she shouldn't have been, lied about it, and just threw something at her mother, ruining her outfit (literally ALL of that had just happened).
  • What's even funnier? How Athena stops Clara. She manages to pin her over her knee and proceeds to spank her repeatedly. Keep in mind both of them are super heroes with super strength AND bodies capable of withstanding bullets, but when Athena is done with her... Clara's ass is SO red and sore, that she has trouble sitting down for days.
  • Perhaps just as funny as that is the bullsh-t excuse Clara gives her mother (and that her mother HAD to accept it, lest she reveal that she knew about Clara being a hero AND she herself being the original 8th Wonder.) The excuse? She was skipping class to go play at the pool (which was true), "tripped, and fell on her butt".
• What doubles as one of the most critical events of the story also has a pretty funny moment: Athena gets flung back in time to the day that her husband, BM the Shooter was said to have died by blowing up a bomber carrying a doomsday weapon while he was on it. When Athena realizes where and when she was, she completely ignores just about every rule of time travel by flying straight to where BM was in order to save his life, not even thinking about the possible paradoxes such an act might cause. She even lets normal people see her, and in a VERY skimpy outfit no less, but then again, nobody knew who she was. Anyway, she frantically races to the catch up to the bomber, crashes into it and right as her husband was about to shoot the doomsday weapon, causing the jet to self-destruct, she crashes into the room, flies into him and embraces him tearfully... And then she finally realizes what she had done... She starts to get overwhelmed and panics upon realizing that she had just done all that without actually thinking it through (time travel safety rules, be damned), not to mention she was wearing what she felt was a VERY embarrassing (and skimpy) outfit, AND to top it all off she was convinced that he'd probably not recognize or believe her if she told him that she was actually Athena (from the future). It's a very rare case of seeing her so hilariously flustered.
  • Then comes the cherry atop the cake: As it turns out, not only does he recognize her, but he's actually Point Blank! He tells her that when they separated in the time stream, he went back 2 years further than she did, and while trying to get back, he met her younger self. The two fell in love, married, and he got her younger self pregnant (yes, meaning Clara is HIS and her child). Thus, her husband BM the Shooter, and he were the same person... She takes this as you would expect: With a priceless look of confusion on her face! Still, she DOES finally accept it as the truth and the two go back to their original time together.
• The first encounter between Clara and Point Blank since returning from time traveling. Athena rescues her from about to be raped by a crowd of villains, while HE goes on a rampage shooting all the enemies present, saying "How DARE they do any of that crap to his daughter!" Clara sheds tears of joy upon reuniting with her mother, but when Point Blank approaches her? HE starts tearing up (happily), and telling her that he's her papa! Unfortunately, Clara freaks out and tries to deny it, because she didn't want a father that was the same age as her. He tries to tell her that thanks to time travel, he was actually now 2 years older than her, but she continues to whine that that doesn't make any difference. (All this happens while Athena facepalms in the background.)
• Sort of an epilogue-esque detail, but apparently once Blowjob is defeated once and for all, Athena and Point Blank stay together as a married couple, and they basically start making up for lost time it seems with them making love EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT!
  • Bonus points for the unfortunate fact that due to Clara's super hearing (and given how loud they are), Clara hears them whenever they're going at it.
  • Also worth mentioning is that by the time of the latest release of content in the series, Athena has given birth to 3 more children and has another on the way. In fact, by the end of the first 3 volumes, Athena was already pregnant with her 2nd daughter, which had been conceived back when Point Blank had sex with Athena/DeepThroat to break the brainwashing effects she was under from Blowjob. Said 2nd daughter would grow up to become the "3rd Generation" of the 8th Wonder.
• A somewhat meta and Hilarious in Hindsight sort of deal is that the main 3 volumes are about Athena doing everything to protect and support Clara (secret mentoring, protecting her from being raped or being exposed to sex, etc). In a funny bit of irony, the first thing to come out taking place AFTER the 3 volumes is the Amazing 8th Wonder, which amounts to the events leading up to Clara losing her virginity technically twice. The good news is that at least it was consensual.
