Dorudon Cosplay is a Swedish cosplay group and band consisting of singers Marielle and Kagami, bassist Lina, drummer Mimmi and pianist Benjamin (Allthough the roles get switched quite a few times). So far, their only cosplay has been Naruto's Akatsuki with Marielle as Deidara and Hidan, Kagami as Konan, Lina as Sasori, Mimmi as Tobi and Benjamin as Kakuzu.
Dorudon Cosplay provides examples of the following tropes:
- All Asians Wear Conical Straw Hats: Averted, while they do have straw hats in the Akatsuki, none of Dorudon Cosplay does.
- Amusing Injuries: It's implied Deidara sics a bomb on Tobi in the skit. And at the end Konan throws a paper shuriken at him.
- Anything That Moves: Deidara's portrayed as quite the nymphomaniac.
- Badass Longcoat: All of the Akatsuki, along with the High Collar of Doom.
- Berserk Button: When Konan's annoyed... Don't correct her.
- "Tobi...everybody's stopped playing!!"
- Bifauxnen: Played straight with everyone except Kagami as Konan and Benjamin as Kakuzu, as they're cosplaying their actual genders.
- Bi the Way: The skit seems to portray all the members as bisexual.
- Blatant Lies: "Tobi's song was very good."
- Break Up Song: Hidan sings "I Will Survive" to Kakuzu.
- Cosplay: Well, duh.
- Cover Version / The Cover Changes the Meaning: Pretty much inevitable, as the lyrics to most of the songs have been changed.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Marielle as Deidara, to the point of including the actual song in the skit.
- Ensemble Darkhorse: All the Akatsuki members portrayed are very popular despite their tiny amount of screentime.
- Evil Redhead: Lina as Sasori.
- Eyes of Gold: Kagami's planning on getting contacts.

- Freudian Trio: Deidara and Tobi as The Id, Sasori as The Ego and Konan and Kakuzu as The Superego.
- "I Am Great" Song: "...But we can still stand proudly 'cause Akatsuki's really bad."
- "I Am" Song: "Creepy Doll" for Sasori, "Dude Looks Like a Lady" for Deidara (it seems to be about Deidara and Konan's sexual escapades, but considering how Deidara is portrayed, it's a pretty accurate 'I Am' Song).
- Incredibly Long Note: The end of "Akatsuki's Really Bad".
- Large Ham: Marielle as Deidara.
- Last Chorus Slow-Down: The end of "Akatsuki's Really Bad".
- Mad Artist / Mad Bomber: Marielle as Deidara.
- Malevolent Masked Man: Tobi and Kakuzu. The skit contains a joke about it.
- Marionette Master: Lina as Sasori even has a song about it.
- Motor Mouth: Kagami can sing Ievan Polkka (Leekspin) sped up.

- Oddly Small Organization: Even smaller as the group only consists of five members.
- Ominous Music Box Tune: The intro to "Creepy Doll".
- Only in It For the Money: Benjamin as Kakuzu.
- Playing Against Type: All of Dorudon Cosplay are very unlike the ones they're cosplaying in terms of personality.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Deidara and Tobi's red oni to Kakuzu and Konan's blue oni.
- Ring of Power: They've gone out of their way to make sure they will obtain the Akatsuki rings.
- Ship Tease: Deidara with Sasori, Deidara with Konan, Deidara with Hidan...
- Signature Song: The skit begins with "GO!! (Fighting Dreamers)", but with "We are Akatsuki...". Cue the argument on whether to keep that as signature song or not. It ends up as "Akatsuki's Really Bad" instead.
- Smurfette Principle: Played straight with the cosplay, inverted with the cosplayers as Benjamin is the only guy.
- Stuff Blowing Up: Happens now and then in the skit (sfx only, mind you).
- Sure Why Not: Everyone shouts "Deidara, Deidara! Dude looks like a lady!" at the same time, look at each other, shrug and begin to play.
- Villains Out Shopping: The skit potrays Deidara, Sasori, Tobi, Kakuzu, Hidan and Konan... having a band to raise the Akatsuki's funds.
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Kagami as Konan.
