• Executive Meddling: In addition to being the only reason this show was even made, it's also the reason that the series kept going after Goku killed Baby.
• Misblamed: The character designs at the start of the series were drawn by Akira Toriyama himself. Yes, even Vegeta and his mustache.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The series was originally intended to be a throwback to the light-hearted comedy of Dragon Ball and was supposed to stay that way for its entire run. However, the early episodes got bad ratings, so the studio retooled it to make it more like DBZ.
  • On a smaller scale, it is heavily implied that Legic was originally supposed to make future appearances.
