EPIC! Oretachi
AKA Oresama's Journal That May Now Be Considered Extra Credit!
EPIC! Oretachi is User:EPIC's first hand at creating a light novel, which he considers the Spiritual Successor of Lucky Star. Heck, he's already planning the cast for it!
Tsugumu Minagawa, your average Troper, decides to write a journal for English class, just like the rest of the 7th Grade Class in Hikariyama Academy. He has a twin sister named Tsukiyo, and he often writes about their escapades together. It also talks about the growing relationship between Tsugumu and Tsukiyo's best friends: Ryouji Chinaka and Risa Nakabana.

Eventually, two more characters come into the show. Yuuma and Yuuna Kitazawa, the cousin twins of the Minagawans.
Basically a semi-autobiography of User:EPIC, but with all the names changed and some alterations added to make it seem like it's not attacking anyone.
The author was so obsessed with this light novel that he even made a character sheet for it.

- Absurdly Powerful Student Council: Well, not that absurd. The Hikariyama Student Council at least runs things by the teachers first before doing anything. And it ends up getting the whole school doing it!
- Anachronic Order: There're some chapters during the middle school years of the EPIC!-tachi, and some stories cover them in different ages.
- Bland-Name Product: Mostly averted. Nintendo and Sega get referenced all over the place, but there are Paranoia brand TVs.
- Dead Fic: There's only the prologue and chapter 1, both posted in the tail end of 2008. There hasn't been a single update since then.
- Edutainment Show: If middle-schoolers watch this, they'll (hopefully) get a better grasp at Math, English and every other subject.
- Freud Was Right: Played straight, and becomes an Invoked Trope by sex-hungry classmates.
- Gratuitous English: Justified, in that Tsugumu takes up an English class so as to refine his Troper skills, and to study in NYU.
- Lighter and Softer: Happens to Hikariyama Middle when Hikariyama High and University suffered through KIKEN.
- Lucky Charms Title: Officially, the title is EPIC!☆Oretachi. But that's hard to search for on the wiki.
- Mood Whiplash: Especially during the KIKEN crossover arc.
- Roman à Clef: Basically an anthology of the author's middle school experiences, and certain Conversational Troping instances.
- Unreliable Narrator: But the author has really bad memory. And he adds in new experiences from KIKEN.
- Yum Yum: Invoked whenever any male member of the EPIC!-tachi eats a banana.
