• "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses. Yes, as a Christmas song, it only gets radio play a couple months out of the year, but it's still liable to suddenly pop in your head for no good reason in, say, mid-July. And of course the same band gave us the equally earwormy "I Know What Boys Like".
  • After working in a retail establishment where this song was played between two and four times a day for the entire month of December, I no longer fear Hell.

    • Interestingly, this Troper uses "Low Rider" as a cure for OTHER Ear Worms.

• Eleven Saints by Jason Webley. Man oh man, what's that guy got in his hand/ it's a egg, it's a spoon, it's a snapshot of the moon~

• Weezer matches their simple, catchy tunes and rocking choruses to some memorable videos, creating very persistent Ear Worms.
  • "Pork and Beans" is the strongest yet, because its video references a hurricane of other memes off YouTube. I have had nothing else in my head for five days.
  • What's with these HOM-ies dissing my girl? Why do they got-ta front? (doo-dee-doo-dee-doooo) What did we Ev-er do to these guys, that made them SO vi-o-lent?

• "SMOKE! SMOKE! SMOKE! (THAT CIGARETTE)" by Tex Williams. also know as that catchy song at the start of Thank You for Smoking
• Amy Winehouse: "They tried to make me go to rehab, I said no, no, no..."
• The German a cappella group Wiseguys has a song entitled "Ohrwurm" about one of these songs. The song itself doubles as one.
