A 2001 Third-Person Shooter for the Game Boy Advance. It is technically based on Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, but it began to be made before the actual film itself began production and is based on a earlier script.

The game has two modes, one for Ecks and one for Sever. In Ecks's story, the plot begins In Medias Res with him being interrogated by the Defense Department over events that happened four weeks before his interrogation. In Sever's story, a similar interrogation is happening, but by the NSA.

Tropes used in Ecks vs Sever include:

• Blue and Orange Morality: Sever says at the start of her story there's no innocent people, only "killers and victims".
• Combat by Champion: FBI and NSA decide to resolve their rivalry by pitiyng their best agents against each other. In a duel to the death.
• Gratuitous Spanish: Ecks' counsel uses the world "loco" in the middle of a sentence for no apparent reason.
• In Medias Res: Both stories begin this way, with the protagonists being interrogated over events that happened four weeks before their interrogations.
• Interservice Rivalry: Apparently between NSA and FBI, because of jurisdiction quarrels.
• Password Save: You're given passwords after you complete each mission.
• Suicide by Cop: Sever theorizes that may be the reason why Ecks decided to return to the FBI to embark on lone-wolf missions.
• Time Bomb: In Ecks' second mission, the player character have to run away from a bomb Sever set up to explode in three minutes, with mooks standing in the way.
• Tyke Bomb: Sever was an orphan purchased by the NSA to serve as an operative for them. She was trained to kill since an early age.
• Unwitting Pawn: Both Ecks and Sever are being used by their respective agencies over a petty struggle for dominance.
• We Do the Impossible: The counsels lists a Long List of Jonathan Ecks' accomplishments, including things like "solving four insolvable cases".
• What Measure Is a Mook?: Against accusations of murder by their counsels, Ecks and Sever allege self-defence.
