- Crazy Awesome: The description gives an inkling of it, but really, this appears to be the defining characteristic of the comic. The mundane and silly is warped into the Epic and Fantastical (ie. the "stoners," Pablo's entire personality, Colindra's epically serious fashion mentality), with heavy doses of What Do You Mean It's Not Awesome? and What Do You Mean It's Not Heinous?, and all of it is taken in stride and a straight face.
- Which may actually be being deconstructed at the same time too, as per the Lotus Eater Machine and it's related tropes.
