• Ear Worm: "We went to the moon in 1969..."
• Fridge Brilliance: The Musical Episode has about five ensemble members. It doesn't matter in what grade level the song is set; they're in every number and they never change their costumes. But then again, the episode is also a Fever Dream Episode. In much the same vein as the Doctor Who episode Forest of the Dead, every student at the school is the same because it's easier to remember five people and reuse them over and over rather than remember 200 individuals.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The opening of Even Stevens has Ren and Louis Stevens fighting over the TV, before using their remotes as lightsabers to duel over the use of the TV, and then accidentially blowing up the TV set. The Pajamas Media show ZONATION's opening has the host, Alfonzo Rachel channel cruising while becoming increasingly irritated at what he's seeing before deliberately destroying his TV set by throwing his remote into it.
• Les Yay: In the episode 'All About Yvette' when Ren goes Clingy Jealous Girl over her BFF (for the first 2-3 episodes anyway) Charlotte's old BFF Yvette visiting. And then there is a scene at a school dance when Ren goes to the bathroom and is about to reapply her lipstick, but then sighs and says "What's the point?" because she is so distraught about Charlotte not paying attention to her.
• Tear Jerker: The ending of "Sibling Rivalry."
