Fabletown Fables

Snow White

Deputy Mayor of Fabletown for 115 years until she had to leave her job in order to raise her newly born children. Constant problems, and her extensive experience however would require her to take charge during various emergencies. She is married to Bigby.

Bigby Wolf

Sheriff of Fabletown since it's inception, he eventually left his job when he couldn't cope with being separated from Snow White. Eventually a loophole in the Fabletown rules reunites him with his love and he spends his time raising his kids (or cubs) when there aren't any dire emergencies affecting Fabletown.

Tropes associated with Bigby Wolf:

  • Big Badass Wolf: He is most or all of the big scary wolves from the myths.
  • Blow You Away: He was the wolf from "The Three Little Pigs", meaning he can blow gale-force winds. He inherited this ability from his father, The North Wind.
  • Dysfunction Junction: His family: the mother died, the father left them and it's better don't even start with his brothers.
  • Heel Face Turn: In his backstory.
  • Papa Wolf: Try to harm his children is a really, really bad idea.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Played with: Snow White is his soulmate, meaning he can't elude her scent, no matter what: he always knows where she is, or her mood. However he doesn't act as a stalker, and he's not particularly happy by the whole thing.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Can change between human and wolf form at will.

Frau Totenkinder

Fabletown resident who is the leader of the magic practitioners in the community.

Tropes associated with Frau Totenkinder:

  • Because You Were Nice to Me: She's on the good guys side because Snow White and Red Rose saved her life.
  • Hidden Badass: Initially we just know her as the woman who probably tried to kill Hansel and Gretel once upon a time. Eventually we learn that she's a woman who's been alive for thousands years. During that time, she honed and grew her skills in magic to the point where she can win a fight against one of the Great Powers in the Fables universe.
  • Never Mess with Granny See above. Just don't mess with her...
  • I Was Quite a Looker: Odd thing is, she willingly gave up her looks because she didn't much care for the physical desires it gave her, and was always able to regain them whenever she wanted to.
  • Would Hurt a Child

Cinderella

Officially a simple shoe store owner, she's actually one of the top secret agents of Fabletown.

Tropes associated with Cinderella:

Rose Red

Snow White's wilder younger sister who has a troubled relationship with her older sibling. She is the leader of Fabletown's farm.

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Especially Jack.
  • Fiery Redhead: She's mellowed out quite a bit, but she'll still sass you and threaten to kill your progenitor if you get in her way.
  • Hope Bringer: The personification of Hope eventually chooses her to be one of her paladins.

Prince Charming

Ex-husband to (in chronological order) Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella. He successfully managed to grab the position of Mayor from Old King Cole.
