Moya responds to a distress call from Doien, the planet of the Pilots, and so does a high-tech Leviathan crewed by a team of rogue Peacekeepers. They discover that the Grennij are attacking and learn of the Kkore's incursion of the Uncharted Territories. Along the way, Aeryn finds herself following the peaceful teachings of Yemahl more and more, and Pilot reconnects with his family, who had thought him to be dead.
