• Cargo Ship: A throwaway gag in season 1 ended up pairing Ruff with the Fetch 3000.
  • There was also the joke at the end of one episode involving Ruff being forced to cuddle and kiss a chew toy shaped like a golfing cat. And saying "What a pretty puss-puss." Multiple times. Even the recording of the relative of his that gave the instructions on a vinyl record laughed.
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: In the Season 4 Premiere after Ruff found out that Scruff stole all of his belongings, Grandma Ruffman bought back Ruff's Fetch 3000, despite not watching her grandson's channel.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Grandma Ruffman in "The Small Fork Is For Dessert (Unless You're A Dolphin)." While it's true that Ruff needed some work on his manners, the fact that she uninvites Ruff from her party because he didn't RSVP in time and constantly nags on him every time he does something remotely rude just comes off as harsh and mean-spirited.
