50 Cent

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), also known by his stage name 50 Cent, is a Gangsta Rap artist known for surviving being shot nine times. That is his entire public persona.

He is associated with Dr. Dre and Eminem, as well as his posse, G-Unit. He was the face of rap music during much of the Zeroes, and his first two studio albums have sold a combined twenty-one million copies, and has starred in several films and video games, such as Get Rich Or Die Tryin' . 50 Cent: Bulletproof, and 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand.

Also works part-time in Ashington as a peat layer.

Bulletproof Vest: His Iconic Item. Notably, his clothing line originally came in XXL only, in order to fit over them. He refers to his vests as being made out of Teflon rather than Kevlar. Teflon's only used to coat armor-piercing bullets; having it on your vest will not help you.
Cursed with Awesome: His distinctive voice partially resulted from his injuries.
Glory Days: 2003-2007 were the years 50 cent was referred as one of the best rapper around now people refer to him as washed up and overrated.
Has Two Mommies: He wrote in his autobiography that his mother was lesbian and had a relationship with another woman.

Intercourse with You: "Candy Shop" and "Amusement Park", "Amusement Park" wasn't as successful because fans realized it was literally the same song as "Candy Shop" with the metaphor changed.
- Not to mention that "Candy Shop" is a carbon copy of "Magic Stick," written by 50 Cent (originally for Get Rich or Die Trying) but released on Lil' Kim's La Bella Mafia.
Made of Iron: Made a living out of it.
The Mentor: Eminem and (to a lesser extent) Dr. Dre.
- Mentor Occupational Hazard: Jam Master Jay, potentially murdered in a failed hit on 50 himself.

Narcissist: not that this isn't the norm for his brand of rap, but you'd think he'd at least come up with a more inventive album cover.
Non-Actor Vehicle: His film career (with a filmography rivaling Nicolas Cage in recent years) is basically this.

Obfuscating Stupidity: He's one of the richest musicians alive. Most of it isn't through music.
- Does this really count if his endeavors outside of music are highlighted in almost all of his interviews and even some of his music? In "I Get Money" the first line of the first verse was about his deal with Vitamin Water.
Parental Abandonment: He's never even met his father.
Playing with Syringes: The beginning of the video for "In Da Club" features 50 being designed by scientists in a lab, while Dr.Dre and Eminem look on approvingly in lab coats.
Rage Against the Mentor: Got some of this from (The) Game, whom 50 kicked out of G-Unit for "disloyalty" at what proved to be the high point of both artists' careers.
Rags to Riches: He's one of the few musicians that can't be accused of selling out, as his entire thing is this trope.
Raised by Grandparents
Scary Black Man: in the rap game because of this many rappers are scared to beef with with .
Signature Song:In Da Club.
Stealth Parody: One reviewer openly wondered if Blood on the Sand was taking the piss out of 50 Cent, as he comes across as exceedingly ridiculous and over the top in compared to his allies, and even his enemies in some cases.
Take That: He literally built his career on this trope.

Walking Shirtless Scene: Well, its that or a bulletproof vest.
Web Original: He really loves to use internet for promotion. Some videos that he produces are made to promote other artists and others as a Take That for another musicians that he dislikes (some of them are really funny).
