Being a fan-fiction of the show Celebrity Deathmatch, the work often follows the similar formula as the series. As noted, it's a Mega Crossover, with shouts out to many pop culture references. This is mainly devoted to the many shout-outs, it's to help with the crowding issue and clear things up.

  • The nicknames of each the Fusion Gundam came from common nicknames of soccer-teams of either hometown or birthplace.
    • Redd: Liverpool F.C. - The Reds
    • Hornet: Watford F.C. - The Hornets
    • Hawk: Harlow Town F.C. - THe Hawks
    • United - Leeds United F.C. - The Whites, United, The Peacocks
    • Spur - Tottenham Hotspur F.C. - The Lilywhites or Spurs.
  • The mixtape belonging to Melanie of Liverpool being used by anyone else besides the owner is a nod to Guardians of the Galaxy. This referred to a mixtape belonging to Peter Quill, called "Awesome Mix Vol. 1"
  • Where Vince on the reasons for the crew going is a shout to a scene in The Principal and the Pauper, where Homer asks why they were going to Capital City.
  • Mike Tyson's use of a laser pointer is a reference to a States Farm Advert, where a cougar is distracted by the same thing by two lost travelers.
  • Melanie's bizarre training of her dodging skills is similar to the infamous Golden Chicken in Gears of War series.
  • Spur being distracted by a random dove: famous "Is This A Pigeon" Meme.
  • Groucho explaining to both Melanie and Emma why they're getting training is similar to his character in Duck Soup.
  • Hornet and Hawk talks about the infamous Zelda Easter Egg. If Link steals, he's labeled a thief. Upon returning, the shopkeep will zap Link, killing instantly.
  • The Food Fight scene is mainly based on mainly featured on WWE, right down Victoria being a target of a pieing, ala Kevin Owens.
  • Melanie often runs in a similar pattern to Naruto.
