Four-Temperament Ensemble/Playing With

Basic Trope: Four/five characters with one of the five temperaments.

Straight: The Player Party in Tales of Troperia consists of the Hair-Trigger Temper Prince Hiro, The Eeyore Prince Dennis, Genki Girl Princess Marcy, and Yamato Nadeshiko Princess Claudia.
Exaggerated: (A flanderized version of the trope)
Downplayed: The characters are quadruplets, and they have a mild disagreement over where to order out for lunch.
Justified: The characters carry magical weapons that react to their personalities.
Inverted: The characters all look very different, but they act like drones controlled by a single mind.
Subverted: The initial party is a four-temperament ensemble, but in the very first Hopeless Boss Fight, they lose Claudia, and become a Freudian Trio instead.
Double Subverted: The team gets a replacement member to fill the Phlegmatic slot later on.
Zig Zagged: The team is constantly losing and replacing their fourth party member.
Parodied: Before each major battle, the team introduces themselves, Super Sentai style.
Averted: At least one of the temperaments is left out completely.
Enforced: Write Who You Know with these four temperaments.
