The Main Trio

Love Momozono (Cure Peach)

Voiced by: Kanae Oki

• Bare-Fisted Monk: Cure Peach's specialization in punching)
• Berserk Button: The same as Nagisa's: don't ever harm her friend. In her case, trying to brainwash Setsuna back into Labyrinth counts as harming her friend, and serves as the instigator of a Big Damn Heroes moment in episode 42.
• Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass
• Dangerously-Short Skirt: A minidress, specifically.
• Expy: Of both Nozomi and Urara at once, with Lucia from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch thrown in there; she has also been compared to Shiny Luminous by a few people.
• Fan Nickname: Nozomirara, for the reason above. It wore off quickly.
• For Happiness: So much that in the first episode she starts crying because her classmate Yumi was rejected by a senior she had a crush on.

Miki Aono: Cure Berry

• Bare Your Midriff: As Cure Berry.
• Dangerously-Short Skirt
• Hair Decorations: Her headband.
• Fan Nickname: Babaa II, but it wore off later.
  • mktn, from Love's way of calling her. (Miki-tan)
  • Space Miki-tan, for her appearance in The Movie, wearing a futuristic space patrol leotard.
• Get a Hold of Yourself, Man!: Performs it to Cure Peach in The Movie.
• Kick Chick: Cure Berry's specialization is in kicking.
• Proper Tights with a Skirt
• Rapunzel Hair: Classic (butt) length. Even moreso as Cure Berry, where it becomes a really large drill ponytail.

• Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Octopus in her case, since a certain event in her childhood.

Inori Yamabuki (Cure Pine)

• Crazy Prepared: Who ever brought an umbrella to the amusement park to protect from splashing water caused by log flume?
• Meaningful Name: Inori means "pray", which specifically refers to her element of prayers.
• Shrinking Violet: Though later she becomes a bit more outgoing.
• Speaks Fluent Animal: From episode 13 onwards.
• Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: In her case, ferrets... And Tarte just happened to be one. However, she is no longer afraid of him after the events of episode 10.

Cure Passion (Spoilers)

Setsuna Higashi / Eas (Cure Passion)

Voiced by: Yuka Komatsu

• The Atoner
• But Now I Must Go: She returns to Labyrinth with Hayato and Shun in the last episode since it's now safe from Moebius' influence. Of course, it's hinted that they can come back and visit if they want to.
• Evil Twin: Soular creates a clone of "Eas" shortly after she defects.
• Fan Nickname: Secchin/Secchan. The latter is actually used by Ayumi, Love's mother. According to a few people, she also stole the Baa-chan/Baba II nickname from Miki.
• Good Eyes, Evil Eyes: She is initially portrayed with narrower and duller eyes than the Cures. However, they become rounder and shinier after she resolves to become a Pretty Cure in episode 24.
• Heel Face Turn:
• High Heel Face Turn
• Heroic BSOD: Despite her Heel Face Turn, she constantly dwells on her time as Eas and even worries that she will change back.
• I Surrender, Suckers: She pretends to accept Moebius's forgiveness in episode 42, but her real intention is to destroy the Fuko Gauge.

Labyrinth

Lord Moebius

The shadowy leader of Labyrinth, treated as a god by its inhabitants. His goal is to use the power of "Infinity" to bring every single parallel world under the robotic control of Labyrinth. It is actually a Master Computer designed to help manage the lives of its citizens, which it did by brainwashing everyone and taking control of their very souls.

Eas

Voiced by: Yuka Komatsu

One of the first three Labyrinth agents sent to Earth. Eas is a cold and calculating girl who strives to prove herself worthy of Lord Moebius' attention. She develops a strong rivalry with Love, who has an opposite personality from her own. Her human alias is Setsuna Higashi. Eas is eventually killed by Labyrinth due to her many failures, but is revived as Cure Passion, who is covered in the Pretty Cure section.

• Becoming the Mask: She attempts to infiltrate Love's circle of friends so she could steal their Transformation Trinkets, and is equally confused and horrified as she grows into the role for real.
• Cast from Hit Points: The Nakisakebe cards.
• Dark Chick
• Dark Magical Girl
• Deadly Upgrade: The Nakisakebe cards, which are Cast from Hit Points.
• Disney Death: And then she gets resurrected as Cure Passion.
• Duel Boss: To Cure Peach.
• Precision F-Strike: A fansubber gave her the line "Who the hell are you?" in episode 1.
• Red Eyes, Take Warning
• Stripperiffic: Evil black hot pants!
• Villainous Breakdown: As the series progresses, she edges closer and closer to one. Her use of the Nakisakebe cards catalyses the process.
• Well Done Daughter Girl: Essentially her main motivation.
• What Is This Thing You Call Love?: She's been brought up to believe that people are inherently selfish and that any declaration otherwise is a lie. This starts to break down after she realises that Love's affection for her is genuine.

Westar

Voiced by: Yasunori Matsumoto

One of the first three Labyrinth agents sent to Earth. Westar is a boisterous bruiser whose unfamiliarity with human social norms often leaves him looking stupid. His plans tend to be direct and unsubtle. His human alias is Hayato Nishi.

• Achilles in His Tent: After Eas becomes Cure Passion, Wester is genuinely hurt by the defection and constantly attempts to convince her to return. It never works, but he doesn't stop trying until his own Heel Face Turn.
• Big Damn Heroes: After the Heel Face Turn, the first thing he did was coming to protect the Cures who were defeated by Klein-Northa.
• But Now I Must Go (at the end of episode 50, Labyrinth is safe enough for him, Shun, and Setsuna to come back)
• The Brute
• Butt Monkey
• Clueless Chick Magnet: He cannot make two steps in his civilian disguise, without attracting a bunch of female admirers, despite being completely oblivious to the reason of this.
• Disney Death: Seems that "deletion" wasn't so permanent after all.
• Good Costume Switch: In episode 48.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: His seiyuu is the same one as Yes! Pretty Cure 5's King Donut's.
• Laughably Evil
• Redemption Equals Death: The last thing he did before being sucked into a black hole with Souler was push Cure Passion, a one-time Labyrinth minion who had defected to the Cures, out of harm's way.

Soular

Voiced by: Kenichi Suzumura

One of the first three Labyrinth agents sent to Earth. Soular is sly and intelligent, often using meticulous plans that manipulate others. His human alias is Shun Minami

• Big Damn Heroes: After the Heel Face Turn, the first thing he did was coming to protect the Cures who were defeated by Klein-Northa.
• Bishie Sparkle: In episode 35.
• But Now I Must Go: At the end of episode 50, Labyrinth is safe enough for him, Hayato, and Setsuna to come back.
• Disney Death: See above.
• The Evil Genius
• Expy (of Mukadia)
• Good Costume Switch: In episode 48.
• Long-Haired Pretty Boy
• Redemption Equals Death: The last thing he did before being sucked into a black hole with Westar was push Cure Berry out of harm's way.

Northa

Voiced by: Misa Watanabe

A senior Labyrinth agent sent to Earth to aid their efforts in capturing Infinity. Excessively cruel and sadistic, she uses Despair Energy to grow her powerful Sorewatase monsters. Her human alias is Nayuta Kita.

• The Dragon: She shares this position with Klein quite literally at the end.
• One-Winged Angel: When fusing with Klein.
• Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Trailer: She never appears in any of the promotional material or merchandising, but that's just because she doesn't really get any screen time until episode 36.

Klein

Voiced by: Kouji Hiwatari

• The Dragon: His position in Labyrinth and also his transformation
