- Action Girl (Unlike the other Mikos, Takiko was trained in self-defense in the real world. She's a naginata user, and gets one for her personal use in the Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho)
- All of the Other Reindeer (Doesn't fit in with the other girls at school, in part because she's the New Kid.)
- Defiled Forever: Takiko climbs into bed topless with the girl she found, hoping to absorb her fever and bring it down. However, as Uruki, this girl does not stay a girl, and Takiko freaks out, saying how she'd never be able to marry.
- Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: (She falls into this blunder sometimes.)

- Acceptable Feminine Goals: Takiko's governess never fails to remind her of this, and constantly nags her to act like a lady, or she'll never get any suitors.

- Heroic Self-Deprecation (Deconstructed: it's useful at times, but Takiko's low self-esteem is part of the reason Genbu consumes her soul.

- Berserk Button: never . Ever . EVER bring up questions and/or topics to make him freely define and praise his sister, otherwise you'll be the victim of his unstoppable Motor Mouth.
- Big Brother Instinct: Plays this role on all of the younger teammates, but he's the major one to Tomite and sister Aila .

- Mind Rape: Real power No.2. This is Hikitsu's most Powerful ability, but is also his Power Incontinence in which one accidental occasion sends Takiko back to the real world. In a premium drama, revealed the extra ability of Mind Reading if he uses his right eye to look at a person who's not looking at him. For the sake of others and himself, he uses an eyepatch to keep it under control.)
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Even better, his eye ability was taken Up to Eleven when it's revealed that he can see through lifeless objects to obtain the object's history, and its owner's backgrounds as well. Through this method, he can understand people's entire historical background without them even aware of it, and has achieved a surprising Caught on Tape moment for the story plot to forward on.
- To sum it up, he's basically a Supernatural Surround-Dimension Retina-Display in High Definition.
- Minored in Asskicking: Totally minored if you realized he's actually the 3rd strongest in line (most powerful being the Urumiya Bros....ouch.) He just prefers to lay back and babysit for the most part.
- Straight Man and Wise Guy: The stunning Wise Guy with a surprising Boke twist to Tomite.
- Sugar and Ice Personality (Normally a Stoic Woobie, but once you knew him you'll notice that he's a soft cookie baked in an oven.)
- Team Mom: He buys horses, he buys weapons, he manages money, he calmly solves teammates' disputes, all in the story's spare time. And By Genbu, he makes bento boxes, bakes chocolate cookies , and offers to comb his sister's hair in his sleep talk too! With so much in contribution, Takiko pasted this badge right on his face!

- Sibling Yin-Yang / Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling : Older bro Tegu is responsible, calm, thoughtful, and friendly, while younger bro Hagas is the foolish one, and reacts to issues in an extreme matter.
- Someone Has to Die: In order to fully combine the power of "Urumiya" as a whole, this move has to be done between the brothers themselves. You'll be surprised.
- Strong as They Need to Be / Purposefully Overpowered / Game Breaker: There's no other celestial warriors around the world at the time, the almighty Kutou Kingdom means NOTHING compare to the 1st generation superpower warriors, so Watase pulled out this card.

- Self-Sacrifice Scheme: As the twin who bares half of the power of Urumiya, the physically weaker in health due to his uncurable Soap Opera Disease, and fully understands that his older brother, Tegu has the more responsible and willing personality to uphold the celestial fate, Hagas has been preparing for his own death in order to transfer the full Urumiya resposibility to Tegu to have him support the Genbu Team for a long time, and eventually Hagas fullfilled it.
