Tear Jerker: Holy crap... for a Super Robot series, there's LOTS of this. These include the episodes featuring the death of Fan Lee's Long Lost Sibling, right after they found each other - and in poor Fan Lee's arms!, the story of the ONLY member of the Dark Horror Army able to resist his brainwashing... since the Army killed his cute little daughter in front of him, and Pete's A Day in the Limelight episode, in which we learn why is he a Jerkass... due to having failed to prevent his parents's deaths.

Better on DVD: The DVD and international releases of the show feature improved animation in quite a few spots.
Crowning Music of Awesome: Psychic Lover, known for their awesome Toku themes, prove that they've got as much chops as JAM Project when it comes to awesome Super Robot music.

Magnificent Bastard / Complete Monster: Proist is possibly the only villain in all of Super Robot fiction who will make you shout out obscenities as often and as frustrated as you did during Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Ribbons and her are a match made in hell.
