  • The whole pregnant Kiyoko subplot. I'd be willing to suspend my belief if it stopped at a certain point, but it goes on and gets more convoluted to the point of Narm. Okay, so the baby grants special powers because of its father. Whatever, I can accept that. So it develops faster than normal. Maybe it's not so healthy for its mother. But then Kiyoko dies with the baby still developing inside her (unless I got confused, or if my subs were that bad), turns into goo, and delivers prophetic messages to Tatsuya. And after all that, they don't even have the decency to do anything with the baby! They wasted a perfectly good bizarre plot!
