Go Far
Go Far is a Star Trek: Voyager Alternate Universe fan fiction by Shifty Eyed Dog. Much more AU than normal. The vast Star Trek universe that took up an entire galaxy has been shrunk to a single world, time locked somewhere between 1300-1500 AD. All the starships are now wooden sailing ships, out to discover the world. And all the cool technology has been replaced with magic. Just go with it. In the story subtitled "Caretaker", Voyager is on a mission to capture the renegades in the Broken Islands. Both crews are caught in a storm that strands them on the far, unexplored side of the world and must work together to find a way home. It's like a retelling of the original series, but then again it's not - a lot has been changed to fit the new world and to keep it from being just another boring retelling. Judging by the way "Caretaker" ended, the author intends for this to be a series of stories.
