Cassidy Cain

The protagonist and titular Grandmaster of Theft. Heiress to the CAINternational fortune and granddaughter of legendary strategist, Cassidy uses said abilities as a vigilante thief. While she's against any forms of injustice, her primary objective is to reveal and capture Deus.

Cassidy's Right Hand Man. He's loyal to Cassidy through anything that comes their way, though that doesn't interfere with him messing with her from time to time. He's far more low-key than Cassidy, being the cooler of heads and has connections to criminal underworld.

Edan Cain

Cassidy's Grandfather and Mentor. A legendary strategist in his own right, he now serves as Cassidy's mentor and Secret Keeper.

Gale Crawford

“We of the Crawford Dynasty bring honor to our name by protecting the innocent. That’s all I wish to do."

The Hero Antagonist of Grandmaster of Theft. The older brother of Rae, he is a member of Imperial Police. He is dedicated to serving the law and protecting people of world alongside capturing Deus. However, he is also in antagonism with Grandmaster because of being a thief as well.

Vincent Sharpe

"Better to live everyday with no regrets. Joie de vivre!”

Vice President of Sharpe Security and the heir to Sharpe Security. A pretty boy hedonist who is not very serious about his work or position.

Julia Harte

The daughter of Sharpe Security's President and Vincent's personal assistant.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Jules
  • Apologetic Attacker: So far she's had a quick exchange with Cassidy and a showdown with Narcissa. Each time, she apologizes repeatedly for everything in it, including during the battle.
  • Badass Adorable: Though she's shy, withdrawn, polite, and doesn't like fighting at all, she's also has defensive skills and speed nearly equal to Cassidy's. She furthermore has revealed herself to be a competent staff fighter, including beating Narcissa with a single strike.
  • Beleaguered Assistant: Takes care of all the details behind business alongside manages out Vincent's Millionaire Playboy antics.
  • The Cutie
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: To Vincent. She handles all the business detail as his assistant, arranges anything they need, and can kick ass if it's called upon.
  • Martial Pacifist: Capable of defending and fighting, but prefers to do so only in self-defense or defending otherwise alongside uses violence only when there are no other solutions. Otherwise, she hates fighting at all and will avoid it unless no other choice.
  • Morality Pet: To Vincent. As much a hedonistic jerk he can be at times, he's so far shown to clear care for her. She also keeps him in line most of the time.
  • Nervous Wreck: Assumes the very worst will happen and plans accordingly, just in case.
  • Shrinking Violet: Generally avoids speaking much and when she does, speaks in a small stutter.
  • Simple Staff: Her weapon of choice is one which can compact
  • Silk Hiding Steel: Delicate shrinking violet on the outside, the true brains between Vincent & her alongside an accomplished fighter on the inside.

Deus

The Arch Enemy of Grandmaster. A mysterious phantom thief who is untouchable, he is Cassidy's highest priority in capturing and spark to becoming Grandmaster. From his perspective, he treats the entire conflict as a game while also holding feelings for Grandmaster because she opposes him and seeks a Battle of Wits between two.

  • Allergic to Routine: Entire motivation for being a Diabolical Mastermind is because he's otherwise bored, wants something to do, and has no problem being a villain.
  • Arch Enemy: Grandmaster's
  • At Least I Admit It: About being a selfish bastard who doesn't care about anyone else. As he sees it, everybody is a selfish person who will do anything possible given the right justification. He doesn't fabricate he's anything else.
  • Bad Boss: Only helps others out for sake of his own amusement seeing what happens. Whatever they succeed or not is not his problem. He'll cheer for their destruction, ruin their lives to force to work with, or exploit people in short term for his long term profit so long as he finds it entertaining.
  • Bad Is Good and Good Is Bad: Delights in darker things which he defines as society finds repulsive, yet secretly crave
  • Berserk Button: Do NOT interfere with anything he considers fun
  • Blood Lust: Openly admits to finding tons of joy in seeing blood stained on white shirts

  • Laughably Evil: Deus is, without a doubt, a horrible person who has shown no redeemable qualities yet. However, his lack of subtlety, jovial ways, dark sense of humor, and crass nature make him more hilarious to people than evil. Until he goes too far.
  • The Mad Hatter: Fully aware of his lack of sanity and LOVING it.

  • Mood Swinger: Capable of snapping into a flurry of psychotic rage and calming back down in mere seconds of each other.

  • Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Cassidy considers him one because of his psychotic and childish nature.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Maybe. Cassidy has considered it, but has no way of telling if he's legitimately off his rocker or just claiming to be.
  • Psychotic Man Child: Ridiculously immature, crude, into dark things, and hammy while still being a clearly powerful foe who more than backs up claims as being an Evil Genius.
  • The Unfettered: There is nothing he won't do to accomplish a goal.
  • Unsexy Sadist: Towards Grandmaster. He both enjoys the Arch Enemy status between them, attracted to her, plays sadistic mind games with her, and creates challenges for her to test abilities so two can fight with one another. Cassidy, however, is more angered and considers creepy for these reasons.

  • Villainous Crush: Towards Grandmaster because he has a Hot Amazon and thinks she'll be far more difficult for him, meaning she's always interesting.

Narcissa Richmond

A famous treasure hunter who challenged Grandmaster to steal from her a gem known as Undine's Tear. She cares only about her own fame, always seeking new ways to become even more famous. Her goal is to capture or outwit Grandmaster of Theft.

Rae Crawford
