  • Much more of a Tear Jerker if you know what will really happen in the future. Fall of the Union, rampant crime, wars, poverty and injustice, quite probably revolutions and general crapsackery ensure that none of these schoolchildren will be alive to see Alisa's time.
• A meta example. Alexei Fomkin, the actor who played Kolya Gerasimov, should have had a long and respectable acting career. But then he died in 1996 when his apartment burned. He never got to see the future....
