Hajimete no Gal (2015- ) is a romantic comedy manga, written and drawn by Meguru Ueno. It's serialized on Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace. An anime adaptation was made in 2017.

Junichi Hashiba has just entered high school. It's spring season on Japan, the time for the first love... But Junichi and his friends aren't receiving any of it. His friends end up pressuring him into confessing to Yukana Yame, a gyaru. She (somehow) accept his confession, initiating a very weird, if not bizarre, relationship.

Tropes used in Hajimete no Gal include:

• Daydream Surprise: Junichi has a lot of these, involving around him and Yukana "going at it", if you know what I mean. If you don't know what I mean, then I must inform you he's a virgin high-schooler and she's hot as hell, so you can imagine what his fantasies about her are.
• Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Each chapter begins with "My First X", this X being some "stage" of a typical relationship. Or at least what Junichi considers stages of what he considers a typical relationship.
• Ms. Fanservice: Yukana Yame don't wears her school uniform properly, with the jacket tied around her waist, making her "puppies'" volume very apparent to anyone who sees her.
• Shameless Fanservice Girl: Yame really likes to tease Junichi. What creates the greatest tension for both readers and Junichi is if he must Ignore the Fanservice or not, since she can become really irritated at him if he don't acts like her expects.
• Yandere: Nene, that is obsessed with Junichi, is a downplayed version of this, more or less. Downplayed in the sense she didn't attempt to murder or hurt Yame. Not so downplayed in the fact the things she does to get closer to Junichi border on sexual assault.
