Honorable Hogwarts/Characters
Some or all of these characters need descriptions. A list of tropes is not a description. Please provide at least a few words telling how these characters differ from other characters with the same tropelists. |
This page needs some cleaning up to be presentable. This page claims that Real Life famous people are involved in this project. This needs to be verified. |
Characters who appear in Honorable Hogwarts and its Spin-Off, Hogwarts Futures include:
Main Characters
These are the "primary" characters run by each player on the site, and therefore tend to have the most posts and/or the largest amount of focus in the storyline.
Jason Frost
A description of the character goes here.
- Badass
- Implausible Fencing Powers
- Well-Intentioned Extremist / Knight Templar: He straddles the line between the two.
- Black and Gray Morality
- Utopia Justifies the Means
- Cruel and Unusual Death: He's not happy with just killing the Death Eaters, he's gotta make a statement out of it.
- Properly Paranoid: Which led to him executing a perfect Xanatos Roulette against the Deputy Headmistress of Zephyrwit.
- He also devised a method of transmitting information via parchment with absolute security... just seal the parchment and enchant it so that it requires a drop of the intended recipient's blood to be opened.
- Crazy Prepared: Just going by the number of weapons he's carrying at any given time, he's got to fit this trope.
- Genius Bruiser
- I Know Karate: Justified, since on the now-defunct Hogwarts Rising site that started all this, we got to see him learning it.
- Opposing Combat Philosophies: With Harry Potter. They try not to come to blows over it, but there's always a chance it might happen.
- Hot-Blooded
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Madeline was the wrong person for the Brotherhood of the Light to kidnap.
- Kill'Em All: His most famous quote: "If they want to call themselves the Death Eaters, then let them taste death!"
- Also, his stance on the Brotherhood of the Light.
- Batman Gambit: How he brought down the Brotherhood. From inside their organization.
- Gorn: When he enters a battle, things tend to get messy.
- Kick the Son of a Bitch: The main reason he hasn't crossed the Moral Event Horizon yet is because most people kind of want to see the villains get treated this way.
- Would Hit a Girl: In his Backstory, it's stated that he got Lena to stop bullying people by beating the crap out of her.
- He also broke one of Kalia's ribs with the butt of a broomstick in one of his first "onscreen" fight scenes.
- Manipulative Bastard: After forcing Lena to stop bullying his friends at the point of a loaded fist, he decided she shouldn't stop bullying people entirely... he just redirected her negative energy toward the Slytherins, and then let her loose on them.
- No One Could Survive That: He's bounced back from Squick-level injuries several times now. It's almost to the point of Hollywood Healing.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: Almost, but not quite, Hollywood Healing.
- The Determinator: The reason he gets back up from all those injuries. Dates back to Hogwarts Rising, when the only purpose for the character's existence seemed to be Quidditch and he would keep playing no matter how badly hurt he got. This eventually earned him the nickname "Pinata", which was a Lampshade Hanging of his creator's screen name.
- In the Blood: Considering he's probably just about the darkest hero ever, and considering his father was such a Complete Monster that he murdered his mother in front of him, Jason's got a lot of potential to be a villain later on down the line.
- Torture Technician: He's probably not the best torturer on the site, but he's in the top five. Maybe even in the top three.
- Power Tattoo: The Mark of Sakiko, which surprised the hell out of him when it appeared on his hand without warning one day. It gives him the same affinity for and ability to control nature as Sakiko herself.
- Bastard Understudy: He became one to Noah Howerton intentionally as part of a Batman Gambit. He became one to Aldous Conor less intentionally, and hasn't quite realized this yet.
- Spy Speak: Since joining the Wizarding Intelligence Agency, he's become conversant in this. He doesn't do it a lot, though.
- Master of Disguise: It helps to have artificial body parts which can be swapped out for other artificial body parts that look different. If he has the same nose in two consecutive threads, I'd be really surprised.
- Sherlock Scan: He can pick up on whether someone is under the influence of the Imperius Curse by reading the expression on their face.
- Acquired Poison Immunity: On the Spin-Off site, he's currently attempting this trope. Whether he's successful or not has yet to be determined.
- Character Development: If you've been with us since Hogwarts Rising, you've basically seen this guy grow up. He's changed a lot since then.
Madeline Pairis/Madeline Frost

- Took a Level in Badass: And subsequently became an...
- Action Girl: Who got knocked up, and became a...
- Pregnant Badass: Who had the baby, and became a...
- Mama Bear: And thus ended an Overly Long Gag.
- Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: Jason with all those scars and prosthetic replacement parts he's not exactly pretty anymore either. Meanwhile, Madeline is a...
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
- Badass Adorable
- Fan Nickname: Even though there's no canonical basis for it, everyone calls her "Maddie" when referring to her out of character.
- Unequal Pairing: As Badass as Madeline is, Jason is about ten times more badass. Maybe justified, since he's the one who trained her.
- Morality Pet: She does keep Jason in line, to at least a certain extent. Without her, he'd probably be a Complete Monster.
- Distress Ball: Just because she's a Badass doesn't mean it's not ridiculously dangerous being Jason's wife. Someone's always after her, and although she can usually fight them off herself sometimes she needs Jason's help (other times, Jason just takes it upon himself to help).
Tawnie Hart
A description of the character goes here.
- Hey, It's That Chick: She looks an awful lot like Joey Potter.
- And no, Joey and Harry are NOT related.
- Break the Cutie: Poor thing's been through a lot.
- Stoic Woobie: Not that she's willing to share her pain with anyone.
- Hot for Teacher: She had a thing for Aldous.
- Not Herself: When Sasha Rookwood exploits their psychic link, bad things happen.
- Blessed with Suck: The psychic link itself.
- Brainy Brunette: She's a lot smarter than her name suggests.
- Future Badass: As a grown-up, on the Spin-Off site, she goes into a career in law enforcement.
- Adaptation Dye Job: A TV show is made about her life and career. A blond actress is cast in the role.
- Hey, It's That Chick: She looks an awful lot like Joey Potter.
Aldous Conor
A description of the character goes here.
- Sadist Teacher: What he started out as.
- Hot Teacher: He was an asshole as a teacher, but he was a sexy asshole.
- Ambition Is Evil: Naturally, being the head of Slytherin House.
- Big Bad: He posed as this for a while, before being revealed to be a...
- Reverse Mole
- Magnificent Bastard
- Estrogen Brigade Bait / Hey, It's That Guy!: Jason Behr seems to be very popular among the ladies.
- Pet the Dog: Yes, he was a Jerkass for most of the time he was a teacher... but he showed he could be nice when he took Tawnie out of class and personally brought her to the hospital to see her dying mother. It was the site's first Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.
- Training from Hell: The reason he was so hard on his students.
- Love Redeems: He managed to convert his old Hogwarts girlfriend, Miranda Frost, from a Card-Carrying Villain to a very useful ally for the heroes.
- Redemption Equals Sex: Him and Miranda, with each other.
- The Unmasqued World: He abolished the Statute of Secrecy, revealing the existence of wizards and magic to the Muggle world, after becoming Minister of Magic.
- Reed Richards Is Useless: Averted fairly hard. He's done a lot of things to change the world since Unmasqueing things.
- Though not all of them are necessarily good... he did order the British invasion of France, after all.
Trowa Marshall
A description of the character goes here.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Jake Gyllenhaal.
- Deadpan Snarker
- Badass Bookworm
- The Smart Guy: Though he's not exactly physically weak, so it'd be more of a Genius Bruiser-type situation if he were more inclined to fight without his wand.
- Evil Eye: It's yellow and somewhat reptilian-looking, as a result of his corrupted Animagus form. Also counts as...
- Power Incontinence: Most people have better control over their Animagus forms. Trowa's seems to be more an example of...
- Super-Powered Evil Side: Well, maybe not evil, but certainly more cold-blooded than regular Trowa.
- Everything's Better with Dinosaurs: When the full version of his Animagus form is revealed for the first time, it turns out it's a Velociraptor.
Xanthe Chapel
A description of the character goes here.
- Dojikko: She was quite clumsy, at first. She seems to have gotten over it for the most part, though.
- Meaningful Name: Apparently, Xanthe means "blond" in Greek. Guess what her hair color is.
- Dumb Blonde: Subverted hard. She's one of the smartest characters on the site.
- Teen Genius: As mentioned above.
- Badass Adorable / Little Miss Badass: Because she's one of the youngest main characters, her badassery gets classified a bit differently.
- Badass Bookworm: Although as she gets older, she's been veering more toward this.
- Alliteration: She likes to use alliteration in her dialogue.
- Shape Shifter: She's an Animagus. Ocelot-Animagus, to be exact.
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Xira thinks her Animagus form is "beautiful".
- Head Pet: Used as an attack in the Battle of Azkaban, where she transformed into an ocelot and then wrapped herself around a Death Eater's head.
Abel King
A description of the character goes here.
- Sixth Ranger: When he was first introduced. Now he's more...
- The Lancer
- Aloof Ally
- Badass Bookworm: Dude is freakin' smart.
- Dark Is Not Evil: He was sorted into Slytherin House, and certainly does have a dark side, but he's fighting on the good guys' side.
- Jerkass: But just because he's fighting on the good guys' side doesn't mean he's nice.
- One-Man Army: And doing massive amounts of damage to the bad guys.
- Heroic BSOD: When he finds out that Abrianna has died. Followed by him becoming...
- Heartbroken Badass / Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: He's on one right now.
- Gorn: He is not pleased with the other werewolves, and is currently the only character inflicting bloodier deaths than Jason.
Erastes Blake
A description of the character goes here.
- Broken Ace: Former Ravenclaw and Auror, skilled fighter, expert on Transfiguration, Magical Creatures, psychology, history and culture, and always willing to put his own neck on the line for others. Shame he's also a paranoid, isolated workaholic with a serious dose of self-loathing. And a vampire.
- Sliding Scale of Vampire Friendliness: He's pretty far toward the friendly side.
- Kiss of the Vampire: As Cimarron Arriaga discovered. Far less pleasant when he's not being gentle.
- Cursed with Awesome: As much as the Super Strength and unnatural resilience of being a vampire has helped him stay alive, he still sees it very much as a curse.
- Sixth Ranger: As the newest of the main characters, it's to be expected.
- Badass
- Good Thing You Can Heal: In his first battle sequence, he gets injured a lot early on. After he's finished regenerating, he gets back up and saves the collective asses of his teammates.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome: This post might just qualify.
- Everything's Better with Dinosaurs: He conjures a Tyrannosaurus Rex and sends it after the Brotherhood of the Light.
Lena Lacy
A description of the character goes here.
- Tall, Dark and Bishoujo
- Action Girl
- The Ladette
- Badass
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette
- Goth: In all the pictures that have been posted, she certainly looks like one.
- Hot-Blooded
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: On the Spin-Off site.
- Alliterative Name
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
- Defeat Means Friendship: As stated in Jason's Backstory above, after he put the beatdown on her she stopped bullying the good guys and turned her attention toward fighting the Slytherins.
- Genius Bruiser: Yep, seeing as how she's in Ravenclaw House.
- Ambiguously Bi: The reason she gave for saying no to Cimarron was that she was already in a committed relationship. Note how she never actually came out and said that she's not into girls. Which means that she might be, under the right circumstances.
- Depending on the Writer: Four different people have played this character. Each one has their own interpretation.
Blair Duchess
A description of the character goes here.
- Hello, Nurse!: Due to her veela blood, people tend to react to her in this way.
- Ascended Extra
- Draco in Leather Pants: The whole reason the character was created. No, seriously... on the old Hogwarts Rising site, the extent of the description which could be given was "Draco Malfoy's girlfriend".
- Character Development: She's gotten a lot more... dynamic since then.
- Hey Its That Chick: Lauren Conrad.
- Redemption Equals Sex: For both her and Draco. Together.
- Spoiled Brat: She started out like this. She got over it, though.
- Heel Face Turn: After she stopped being such a Spoiled Brat, she served with distinction on Harry's side in the Battle of Hogwarts before following him and Ron into Auror training.
- Action Girl: Post Auror training, she's taken several levels in badass. She even got to rescue Draco while he was holding the Distress Ball.
Envy
A description of the character goes here.
- Perky Goth
- Only Known by Their Nickname: She's only been called by her real name, Yuu, three times.
- The Nicknamer: Whenever anyone has a complex name.

- Even the Girls Want Her: A lot of older women seem to like her.
- Les Yay: With everyone
- Badass Adorable
- Cute Witch
- Tsurime Eyes
- Shorttank: Right down to the goggles.
- Anime Hair: Has a spiky, punkish hairstyle that changes color every couple of threads.
- Cool Big Sis: She's sort of adopted Abigail Delgado as her little sister.
- The Goggles Do Nothing: Has a pair of goggles she occasionally wears that apparently serve no purpose other than to make her look cool.
- But Not Too Foreign: She's half-American, half-Japanese.
- Berserk Button: Is VERY protective of her childhood friend Willow.
- Genki Girl: Though it's diminished some after joining De Haviland and having her eye destroyed by Rage.
- Equippable Ally: Has been trying to become an Armamgus, but with mixed results.
- Bandage Babe: Injuries from her partial transformations have resulted in this.
- Body Horror: What she's gone through to become an Armamagus.
- Eye Scream: A sectumsempra to the eye, courtesy of Rage
- Florence Nightingale Effect: It's implied that she's developed a crush on Diop Johnson after he healed her wounds.
- Zettai Ryouiki: Wears Grade A with practically every outfit.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Turns out one of her parents might be a demon.
- Foe Yay: It's squicky, but seems to have some with Rage during their fight.
- Jail Bait: And how
- Strapped To An Opperating Table: In an attempt to extract the Leviathan from her body
Abigail Delgado
A description of the character goes here.
- Ascended Fangirl: She's an avid comic book reader.
- Genki Girl
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette
- Sweet Tooth: She constantly requires candy, even though her energy level when she's in a state of candy withdrawal is still really high.
Philo Falkin
A description of the character goes here.
- Badass Unintentional: Rather than run, divert their attention elsewhere or attempt to conceal himself when the Slytherins picked on him, he chose to stand his ground and fight back. Possibly an Establishing Character Moment.
- And then he proceeds to run away and depend on the protection of the Dudley (Jason). As a smart guy he realizes when he's in over his head.
- Black Sheep: It's implied that his siblings are energetic, athletic, and outdoorsy while Philo stays inside studying. And the whole family has been in Hufflepuff but he's in Ravenclaw.
- Cannot Spit It Out: His crush on Obderedria.
- Cool Pet: Arlaug, a Swear Frog. It doesn't croak, it spouts obscenities.
- Could Have Been Messy: With a strong side of Paper Cutting. He's survived violent duels and explosions with laughably small injuries.
- Fetish: He's got a thing for BBWs.
- Hollywood Homely: He's described as homely in his character profile, but Jay Baruchel is more average-looking than homely.
- The Smart Guy: As is expected from a Ravenclaw.
- Stalker with a Crush: Towards Obderedria.
- Specifically a Chubby Chaser, but his first date with Obderedria didn't help...
- Whatevermancy: continuing to build on the potential in the books, Philo's use of Arithmancy is determining the likelihood of something occurring.
- Badass Unintentional: Rather than run, divert their attention elsewhere or attempt to conceal himself when the Slytherins picked on him, he chose to stand his ground and fight back. Possibly an Establishing Character Moment.
Ratree Surkhanfa
A description of the character goes here.
- Asian and Nerdy
- Meganekko
- Badass Bookworm: In her creator's own words, "a meek nerd with combat skills".
- Les Yay: With Xira Halcyon.
- Berserk Button: Don't pick on the name of her hometown (Bangkok) in front of her. For that matter, she doesn't like being given nicknames either.
- Author Existence Failure: Hopefully not, but last we heard the girl who plays her was diagnosed with H1N1 and was not in good shape. It's been nearly 2 years since she last logged in.
Avilon Rayne
A description of the character goes here.
- Ambiguously Gay: With an emphasis on gay, meaning that he's more than likely a cross between...
- Camp Gay / Flamboyant Gay
- Informed Ability: He's supposedly an excellent fencer. His player left the site before we could actually see him do any fencing.
- Put on a Bus: It's been about 3 years since his account was used. He's been removed from all existing arcs, and all of his arcs have been dropped.
Obderedria Pienas
A description of the character goes here.
- Big Eater
- Fat Girl
- Fat and Skinny: With Heliotrope the skinny.
- Friendless Background: Only child, single mother, shy, unattractive, minimal self confidence? Check!
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair / Improbable Hairstyle: Or brown hair with green polka dots. And yes it grows like that.
- Playing to the fetish: The reason for her biggest asset. Philo's obsessed with her.
- Shrinking Violet: Shy and embarrassed by her weight
- Sweet Tooth: Of course, since she's a Big Eater.
- Unfortunate Names: Obderedria and Pienas are corrupted versions of words that translate to Obesity and Feasting. And it just sounds weird.
- Not-So-Imaginary Friend: Beverly, a Pooka. You know what that means. More like Harvey and not at all like Frank.
Love Interests
The Love Interests of the main characters. Unless, of course, they're main characters already.
- Abrianna Madoc
- Ascended Extra
- Hey Its That Chick: Jennifer Connelly. Who, needless to say, is a...

- Love Redeems
- Redemption Equals Death
- Dropped a Bridge on Him
- Miranda Frost
- Expy: Even shares the same name and actress as her Die Another Day persona.
- Capulet Counterpart
- Meaningful Name
- Defrosting Ice Queen: Although she's not as bad as she used to be, status post...
- Heel Face Turn: Possibly High Heel Face Turn, depending on your interpretation of events.
- Love Redeems: Her love for Aldous Conor caused her to join him when he went over to the good guys' side.
- Yandere: But her love for Aldous isn't always healthy.
- Redemption Equals Sex: But not onscreen.
- The Rival: She's set herself up as this for Kalia St. Clair for no reason whatsoever, because she thinks Kalia is interested in Aldous and is going overboard to protect her turf.
- Omniglot: Her proficiency with languages makes her useful to the Department of International Magical Cooperation.
- Jerkass: Just don't expect her to be sent out for field work for that particular department... the Ministry has a vested interest in preventing her from meeting new people so as to keep her from causing an international incident.
- Squick / Incest Is Relative: Who was she banging before Aldous finally agreed to give her a chance? Her cousin Andrew.
- This is being revealed here for the first time via Word of God... before, it was just Subtext.

- Replacement Love Interest: For Abel.
- Action Girlfriend
- Our Werewolves Are Different: She can partially transform without the moon being full, leading to...
- Femme Fatalons

- Groin Attack: The last of her rapists got his penis severed by her claws.
- Unequal Pairing: Abel is much more magically powerful, and on the Spin-Off site also wields more political clout.
- Battle Couple: She's still a Badass, though.
- Hey Its That Chick: Ashley Greene.
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette
Canons
Characters from the Harry Potter Canon.
- Harry Potter
- Wide-Eyed Idealist
- The Cape (trope): Minus the titular garment, but otherwise played fairly straight.
- Thou Shalt Not Kill: Goes along with being The Cape (trope).
- Took a Level in Badass: Despite all the above, Auror training has hardened him a bit.
- Genius Bruiser: Auror hand-to-hand combat training has hardened him even more.
- Blind Without'Em: Still wears those glasses.
- Alternate Character Interpretation: It's been suggested that the reason he let Voldemort off himself instead of fighting like a man and killing him was because he knew the whole time that Voldemort had the Elder Wand, and what would happen when he used it. Which is a pretty extreme example of this trope, since it puts Harry Freakin' Potter in Magnificent Bastard territory.
- Draco Malfoy
- Draco in Leather Pants: Played pretty much completely straight, which is why it's good he's pulled a...
- Heel Face Turn
- Alternate Character Interpretation
- The Atoner
- Heroic Sacrifice: He jumped out in front of Lucy to protect her from an incoming stream of blindweed venom, even though he knew it would cost him his eyesight.
- Took a Level in Badass: He's slightly—only slightly, but still, that's an improvement—more competent than in the Harry Potter books.
- You Fight Like a Cow: He used dialogue of this nature to taunt Sasha Rookwood into multiple critical mistakes during the Battle of St. Mungo's.
- Colin Creevey

- Badass Biker: After buying Sirius Black's flying motorcycle, he gained an extra level of badassery.
- The Lancer: He was Jason's original Lancer before Abel. Now he's more...

- Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome: Well, he did eventually. Just not in Deathly Hallows.
- Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: His is mostly good. Or at least Badass.
- And he keeps trying to quit.
- Implausible Fencing Powers: Jason taught him everything he knows. And Jason knows a lot.
- Luna Lovegood
- Cloudcuckoolander: Of all the Canon characters, she's probably the least changed, and is still the best example of this trope.
- Crazy Awesome
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass
- Plucky Girl
- Alliterative Name
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: She's an Animagus now.
- Headmistress Minerva McGonagall
- Alliterative Name
- Badass Teacher
- Badass Grandma
- Stern Teacher
- Shape Shifter: She doesn't use the ability as much as others do, so a lot of people forget she's an Animagus.
- Jimmy Peakes
- Dawson Casting: Zach Braff as a 16-year-old.
- Took a Level in Badass: From the books.
- Ascended Extra: Mentioned maybe three times in the entire Harry Potter series. Gets a decent-sized Arc here. Even if it is fucking depressing.

- Face Monster Turn

- Antagonist in Mourning: For a brother and a sister.
- Best Served Cold: And it was COLD what he did to Molly Weasley.
- Mythology Gag / This Is All The Tropes Bitch: "This is for my sister, you bitch."
- You Should Know This Already: If you don't know why the above is a Mythology Gag, you obviously haven't read Deathly Hallows.
- Moral Event Horizon: If you had any sympathy for him at first, it probably went away around the time he killed Molly Weasley.
- Complete Monster
- Stout Strength: He's not in good shape, but he can sure throw down.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: James Gandolfini appeared in his sig for a while, although the image is now broken and hasn't been replaced yet.
- Crowning Music of Awesome: The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy For The Devil" also appears in his sig.

- Really Thirteen Hundred Years Old
- Religion of Evil: The Brotherhood of the Light, which he started for nefarious reasons (read on).
- Omnicidal Maniac / Kill'Em All: The Brotherhood is the front for a world domination plot. Noah wants to destroy all other wizards so that he's the only person left who can do magic, and then use his power to make everyone else kneel before him.
- Torture Technician: As if we needed any further evidence that he's evil, he invented a way to make the Cruciatus Curse hurt more.
- Typecasting / Hey, It's That Guy!: Jeremy Northam as a villain? How original.
- Expy: 1st-Season Sir Thomas More inspired him, according to Word of God. Also explains the actor choice.
- Like a Son to Me: Particularly twisted (not to mention convoluted example... Noah is immortal and childless, but still prone to the old-man flaw of wanting to pass on his knowledge to a worthy apprentice and establish his legacy. Which Jason exploits ruthlessly.

- Flanderization: Much like Jack Bauer, she doesn't torture people as much as people talk about her torturing people. Since it's the trait she's most known for, it's been blown way out of proportion.
- Nightmare Fetishist: That being said, when she does torture people she has way too much fun.
- Foe Yay: With Jason, back when she was with the Death Eaters. Now it's just plain old UST, though it's not going anywhere as long as Madeline's in the picture.
- Dark Action Girl: What she used to be, before her...
- Heel Face Turn: Which was brought on by...
- Rape as Redemption: At Azkaban.
- The Guards Must Be Crazy: The idiot who raped her decided to do it again the next night. Which not only provided her with a chance to escape, but also with an opportunity to kill him with her bare hands.
- Trauma-Induced Amnesia: After her rape. Though considering the extent of her involvement in Aldous' subsequent Xanatos Roulette, he might have had her fake it to distract the Death Eaters.
- Creepy Sexy
- Duo Warrington
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: He's a funny drunk who works what essentially amounts to a desk job at the Ministry and tends to be extremely sarcastic, but he's also a surprisingly skilled fighter who has proven capable of pulling off the occasional Crowning Moment of Awesome in combat against Death Eaters.
- Catch Phrase: I Need a Freaking Drink.
- Flanderization: His level of drunkenness has certainly increased since he was first introduced.
- Deadpan Snarker
- Plucky Comic Relief
- Andrew Frost
- Heel Face Turn
- The Atoner: Darker and Edgier version... He's promised Aldous that he'll kill one Death Eater for each year he spent in Voldemort's service. For a total of thirteen.
- Badass: You might ask how he's going to go about taking down thirteen of the Wizarding World's most wanted criminals. It would be a mistake to think he can't just go out and do it. Probably on a Tuesday.
- Jerk Jock / The Ace: What he was as a student at Hogwarts. Now he's a...
- Broken Ace
- Manipulative Bastard: He has shades of this, as any good director of an intelligence agency does.
- Torture Technician: It's been stated that he's very good with the Cruciatus Curse.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: David Boreanaz.
- Kissing Cousins: He had some Subtext with Miranda Frost, which turned out to be actual text.
- Zero Oliver
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: May have developed this as a result of Dex's death.
- Elites Are More Glamorous: Not just an Auror in training, but now a member of the WIA.
- The Mole: Recruited by WIA with the intention to be this to De Havilland.
- Twin Desynch: Zero's a much more button down, straightlaced, understated dresser unlike his Perky Goth brother Dex.
Other Hogwarts Students & Staff
- Summit Rookwood
- Meaningful Name: Her parents wanted her to be the best... to reach the summit.
- Hello, Nurse!: In the thread in which she's introduced—a Quidditch practice—Dennis Creevey gets one look at her and nearly falls off his broomstick. It's suggested that she gets this kind of reaction a lot.
- Miss Yo-Yo Knickers: Before Character Development set in.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Character Development hasn't managed to remove this yet.
- Heel Face Revolving Door: Made even worse if you consider her current target for assassination, Jason, to be a heel.
- Fan Service: She's done quite a bit of it.
- Hey Its That Chick: Sarah Roemer is freakin' hot.
- Loreley Avalon
- Shape Shifter: Or, as they're called in the Potterverse, a Metamorphmagus.
- Break the Cutie: First she was tortured so badly that she lost her memory, lost control of her powers and had to be hospitalized, then she watched her cousin get her brain sliced out on the same day she was released from the hospital.
- Revenge by Proxy: Ando stole Raina's brain. So does she take his brain? No, she takes his father's.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Which, as it turns out, was a bad idea, because Naga Saeki's death by her hand unleashed the Ju-On curse upon the world.
- Oblivious to Love: Kieran's planted a kiss on her, and she still doesn't realize he loves her.
- She does now, but it took the ghost of her dead cousin telling her outright in order to make it happen.
- Brodie Carinaris
- Protectorate: Don't fuck with Bella. People who go after Bella tend to lose their heads. For that matter, Sally's probably off limits too.
- Badass Teacher: He's probably equally protective of his students.
- Estrogen Brigade Bait: Possibly the only Hogwarts teacher to have their very own unofficial fan club of drooling female students.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Josh Hartnett.
- Chekhov's Hobby: Eventually, he's going to figure out some interesting uses for that yo-yo.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome: DIFFINDO!
- Made even cooler by the fact that he did this in a thread that contained characters who were, at that time, considered to be far more awesome than himself. Someone who has never, to the reader's knowledge, participated in combat before doesn't show up both Jason and Harry very often.
- Ascended Fanboy: To a certain extent, anyway. He's known in-universe to be a Star Wars fan.
- Bella Banning
- Alliterative Name
- Badass Teacher: She followed her students into a cave she knew an Axe Crazy ex-Death Eater was living in just because she wanted to protect them.
- Fan Service Pack: Sig changed from Nicole Kidman to the younger, blonder Rachael Taylor.
- Hot Teacher
- Women Are Wiser: Possibly why she makes such a good Care of Magical Creatures teacher.
- Converted Fangirl: Brodie got her into Star Wars.
- Sally Carinaris
- Genki Girl: And then some.
- The Nicknamer: Goes along with being a Genki Girl.
- Ascended Extra: In the past year or two, her post count has probably increased by 400. She wasn't used very much before that.
- Hot Scientist: The magical equivalent: Hot Potions Babe.
- Hot Teacher: On the Spin-Off site, she teaches Potions at Hogwarts.
- Stuff Blowing Up: Played for Laughs. Sometimes, experimenting with potions isn't a good idea even if you do know what you're doing.
- Running Gag: Every time she shows up, either her hair has changed color or she's missing one or both eyebrows. See also Stuff Blowing Up.
- Teen Genius
- Kieran Halcyon
- Literary Allusion Title: Yes, he's named after that Kieran Halcyon.
- Chivalrous Pervert / Loveable Sex Maniac
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: When the shit hits the fan... well, he probably still won't take it seriously, but you want him fighting on your side nonetheless.
- Plucky Comic Relief
- Casual Danger Dialog
- Mildly Military: He never really takes Dumbledore's Army seriously. In fact, he probably takes it less seriously than the Weasley twins.
- Heterosexual Life Partners: With Diop Johnson.
- No One Could Survive That: Not invoked like it usually is, but he appeared to die in an explosion and then was later revealed to be buried under debris and only mildly bruised in the Battle of St. Mungo's. It was basically this trope.
- Running Gag: How Loreley doesn't realize he loves her, and how people never get the spelling of his first name right (the guy who made his sig pic misspelled his first name, and it was never corrected... Kieran appears to be aware of this).
- Raina Avalon
- Fiery Redhead: Has a less even temperament than her cousin Loreley.
- Hey Its That Chick: Alyson Hannigan.
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant: Alyson Hannigan, who is a redhead.
- Oblivious to Love: Same setup as Loreley / Kieran, but with Jimmy Peakes. Lamarck Was Right, indeed.
- Killed Off for Real
- Defiant to the End: She basically died to protect Loreley.
- Death Is Cheap: She was brought back as a ghost for at least one thread.
- Leslie Kent
- Hey Its That Chick: Taylor Swift.
- Actor Allusion: Sang "Teardrops On My Guitar" at Jason and Madeline's wedding.
- Ascended Extra: Was originally supposed to be just a side character for the site's owner to shoehorn in when she got bored... now has 793 posts.
- Character Development: Now that she has a Love Interest and some Action Girl-ish tendencies, she's a lot more interesting than she was when she was "that girl who wants to be a country singer". Although she was surprisingly interesting even before her character was developed.
- Took a Level in Badass: She's actually taken so many that she's only a couple of levels away from Neville Longbottom.
- Scars Are Forever: A werewolf clawed her face in battle. Because the wounds are cursed, they'll never heal.
- Beauty Is Never Tarnished: She's still kinda hot.
- Keith Irvine
- Cursed with Awesome: Because he didn't want to be bitten by a werewolf.
- Took a Level in Badass: He took at least three or four after his werewolf bite.
- Unwanted Harem: Werewolf pheromones can really complicate a guy's love life. Played for Laughs, for the most part.
- Cluster F-Bomb: Dropped the first one in the site's history.
- Mysterious Animal Senses: One of many ways in which Our Werewolves Are Different.
- Super Strength: Another way the werewolves are different here.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Even with the height and muscle mass boost from his werewolf curse, he's still pretty small (though normal size for his age now).
- In Harmony with Nature: He was already damn near a master gardener before, and now he's a fucking werewolf too.
- Tatum West
- Really Gets Around: And then some.
- Jerk Jock: He can be, sometimes. He's had some Pet the Dog moments though, so he's probably more of a...
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold
- Ambition Is Evil: He was Quidditch captain for Slytherin House in Season 1 (he's since graduated Hogwarts). He's also known by non-Slytherins to be one of the more kind and understanding members of Slytherin House.
- The Big Guy: Or a Giant Mook, depending on whether or not he joins the Death Eaters. He doesn't seem to be particularly inclined to at this point, but you never know.
- Ryan Purcell
- Jerk Jock: At first. But...
- Love Redeems: Leslie Kent caused him to do a...
- Heel Face Turn
- Badass
- Weapon of Choice: Most werewolf hunters carry silver swords. This guy prefers a silver axe.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: After Greyback tore up Leslie's face, Ryan and Lena went after him, killing dozens of other werewolves along the way.
- The Big Guy
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Christian Bale.
- Hadley Sharpe
- Preppy Name: And then some.
- Rich Bitch: Actually, she's not as bitchy as some of the other members of Slytherin House. But still, she does have her moments.
- Fan Service: While working out with Amber. In workout clothes.
- Hey Its That Chick: Vanessa Hudgens. Which makes her a...
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
- Heterosexual Life Partners: With Amber Westerly.
- Kyleigh Grace
- Hey Its That Chick: Amanda Bynes.
- Fan Service: She's a model. Sometimes, she's not wearing very much during her shoots.
- Blondes Are Evil: She has had a couple of Kick the Dog moments and she is in Slytherin House.
- I Just Want to Be Normal: Her and her boyfriend fled the Wizarding World to live as Muggles.
- The Call Knows Where You Live: Sakiko found them anyway.
- The Chosen One: The reason Sakiko wants to recruit her.
- Refusal of the Call: She still just wants to be normal.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: She was a hardcore ice queen at first. Arron has almost completely defrosted her.
- Lucy Frost
- Granola Girl: Oh, so very much.
- Combat Medic
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: Especially on the Spin-Off site, where she's a...
- Perky Goth
- Friend to All Living Things: She started out as this, but now she's some sort of weird cross between this and a...
- Torture Technician
- Little Miss Badass
- Huge Schoolgirl / Tall, Dark and Bishoujo: On the main site, she's 14 years old and 5'9". On the Spin-Off site, she's 6'1" at 31 years of age.
- Lamarck Was Right: All of the members of the Frost family are tall and athletic. Most of them tend toward Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette status as well, so she's not alone there.
- Anything That Moves: On the Spin-Off site, she's an Ethical Slut who has grown to actually prefer women.
- Berserk Button: Domestic violence, Fantastic Racism, and corporations destroying the environment, just to name a few.
- Jumped At the Call: Twice now, she's done this without being invited. First she joined Ryan and Lena's crusade against the werewolves (her boyfriend had just been bitten by one), then she latched on to Sakiko even though she wasn't a Chosen One.
- Of course, Sakiko's Chosen Ones need a dedicated Healer, so yeah.
- Heroic Sacrifice: In order to protect her boyfriend, who needed a healing potion after being attacked by a plant he had illegally smuggled into Hogwarts, from disciplinary action related to possession of said plant, she sliced open her own hand to give herself a valid excuse to request the necessary potion in his place. They wound up having their first kiss while sharing a bowl of said potion.
- Quentin Neros
- Ambition Is Evil: He's a card-carrying member of Slytherin House. Though it remains to be seen whether he's a Card-Carrying Villain.
- Kavorka Man: He's got a fairly unpleasant personality—not to mention really creepy eyes—but he sure scores a lot of chicks.
- Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: Only further Character Development will tell us which one applies to Quentin.
- Ascended Extra: Very recently ascended.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Vincent Kartheiser.
- Deadpan Snarker: Becoming a Signature Style for the guy who plays him.
- Remy De Sand
- The Trickster
- Con Man
- Loveable Rogue
- Estrogen Brigade Bait: The female members of the site went off when his first sig pic was unveiled.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Perhaps justified by the fact that the guy in said pic was Jensen Ackles.
- Strip Poker: He's known to have played it with Summit, though we didn't get to see it in an actual thread.
- Gratuitous French: To the point of being...
- The Unintelligible
- Expy: In case you couldn't tell from this list of tropes, he's supposed to be based on Gambit.
- Arron Troy
- Ascended Extra
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Paul Walker.
- Pet the Dog: Since he's in Slytherin House, you might expect him to be an evil scumbag with no redeeming qualities. But he's actually one of the more consistently good characters, so far at least.
- Protectorate: He tends to be very protective of his girlfriend Kyleigh. He even went behind her back to get a method of contacting Sakiko, in case The Call Finds Out Where She Lives and he needs help from a... er... higher power to protect her.
- Mandos Fiedor
- The Smart Guy: Sometimes to the point of being an...
- Insufferable Genius
- The Chessmaster: Because Smart People Play Chess. He just likes using the other characters as pieces.
- Time Travel: Trust me, he already knows what you're going to say next. Before you even think it. This is largely why he always seems to be three steps ahead on the Spin-Off site where he's reached his full Chessmaster potential.
- Omniscient Morality License
- A God Am I: Like most other Planeswalkers, but it's invoked with him.
- Cursed with Awesome
- Team Switzerland: He tries to be this as often as possible, because he knows he's a Game Breaker.
- Protectorate: Fuck with his family, though, and he'll put you in dimensional limbo.
- Expy: On the Spin-Off site, his new persona is very heavily based on Dr. Manhattan. He even quotes him from time to time.
- Teleportation Spam: He's one of only a few people who have managed to find a way around the Anti-Disapparation Jinx, a spell that blocks teleportation. He's also the only character who can force others to teleport against their will.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: He caused himself and several other characters to become Unstuck in Time. It was an accident, but still...
- Acacia Webb/Acacia Fiedor
- Teen Genius: On the main site. On the Spin-Off site, she's a 30-something genius.
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: Shiri Appleby. Which makes her a...
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant
- Precision F-Strike: She was the first character, in the history of the site, to use the F-word. Even if she was Not Herself at the time.
- Model Couple: A lot of people think her boyfriend (and future husband) Mandos is sexy as well, so they fit this trope quite nicely.
- Unequal Pairing: As mentioned above, Mandos becomes a Physical God eventually.
- Heliotrope Le Jean
- Early-Bird Cameo: Her name was mentioned roughly a half year in game (real life 1 month, so not as impressive) before her character was even created.
- Elemental Baggage: Best if she has a body of water to work with but she can summon water from her loch if needed.
- Fat and Skinny: With Obderedria the fat.
- Making a Splash
- No Social Skills
- Our Mermaids Are Different / Half-Human Hybrid: She's part merperson, equatable to the effects of Gillyweed.
- Raised by Natives: Merfolk and hippy french witches that think they're merfolk.
- Nathan "Alice" Williams
- Embarrassing Middle Name
- Pet the Dog: He helped a first year student for nothing in return, which led to...
- Heel Face Turn: After petting the dog Nathan felt good for the first time in a long time and wanted to feel that way more often.
- Stop Being Stereotypical: The nice Slytherin looking to redeem the house and their legacy.
Diop Johnson
- The Medic: Healing is his magical specialty.
- Combat Medic: But he can sure kick some ass when he needs to.
- Deadpan Snarker: Not to the same extent as his son Josh on the Spin-Off site, but he has his moments.
- Badass Labcoat: The Wizarding equivalent.
- Plucky Comic Relief
- Team Switzerland: On the Spin-Off site, he's retired from fighting/adventuring and Refuses The Call.
- Mildly Military: Justified in that he's technically never actually in the military, but the way Jason runs Dumbledore's Army it kind of is like a real army. If only Diop could be convinced to take it seriously now...
- Casual Danger Dialog: Goes along with him being Mildly Military.
- Heterosexual Life Partners: With Kieran Halcyon.
- The Medic: Healing is his magical specialty.
The Wakefield Group
People who work for The Wakefield Group, at first presented as an evil corporation but now in a more morally gray area after helping out the good guys on a number of occasions. Heel Face Revolving Door applies heavily.
Gavin Wakefield
A description of the character goes here.
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: Kinda goes without saying.
- One Steve Limit: Averted. There was already a character with the first name Gavin when his account was registered.
- The Chessmaster
- Typecasting: Hey, it's Charles Logan! How much you wanna bet he's evil?
- Obfuscating Stupidity: He likes to come off as weak and indecisive. This is partly to draw out rivals for power so that when they openly challenge him he can eliminate them, and partly so that the other members of the company's Board of Directors think they were the ones who made a decision when he was really subtly steering them toward it all along.
- Manipulative Bastard: See above.
Jacob Zotermeer
A description of the character goes here.
- The Dragon: To Wakefield's Big Bad.
- Dragon-in-Chief: Possibly. It remains to be seen.
- Expy: Of Ben Linus, pre-Villain Decay.
- Magnificent Bastard: Well, duh. He's an Expy of one, so it kinda goes without saying.
- Xanatos Speed Chess: He's so willing to take his plans Off the Rails that he recruits Jason Frost into the company.
- Wham! Line: Delivered with some regularity. At least three different examples so far.
- Asexuality: He's just plain not interested.
Zev Yorkin
A description of the character goes here.
- Disc One Final Boss: At first, it appears he's Wakefield's Dragon. As it turns out, not so much.
- Badass Grandpa: He's the oldest person at the company. But you don't want to fuck with him.
- Evil Old Folks: I mean you really don't want to fuck with him.
- Grumpy Old Man: When his age is played for comic relief, he becomes this.
- Cool Hat: A cowboy hat. He's a native Texan, unlike many of the others who just work at a company that's based in Texas.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: He's declared this against Aldous, due to them wielding similar powers.
Malcolm Walker
A description of the character goes here.
- Mad Scientist: Well, the wizarding equivalent. Being head of R&D at a company whose projects make Veridian Dynamics look downright cuddly will do that to you.
- Axe Crazy: And the emphasis in Mad Scientist is on mad.
- Scary Black Man
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: He's basically a black, evil Walter Bishop.
- Evil Old Folks: Second oldest person at the company.
Ward Haskell
A description of the character goes here.
- Consummate Liar
- Villain with Good Publicity: Tries to make the entire company be this... he is, after all, the Head of the PR Department.
- Slave to PR: Comes with the territory.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Mitt Romney.
Tatsu Kanazawa
A description of the character goes here.
- Inscrutable Oriental: So much so that we don't know what side he's on (for the record, not everyone at the company is on the same side).
- Expy: Of Kaito Nakamura.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: George Takei.
- Badass Grandpa: Rumor has it he could kick some serious ass in his youth. Word of God has it that he still can.
- Implausible Fencing Powers
Brent Phanan
A description of the character goes here.
- Badass: And then some. When you're the Director of Security for a company like this one, you have to be able to take down Chuck Norris without breaking a sweat.
- Career Killers: He started out as just an assassin. But...
- Asskicking Equals Authority
- Cool Old Guy: Well, cooler than most of the others.
- Weapon of Choice: Prefers a hand axe over a wand.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Dismembered his Abusive Parents with said axe.
- Berserk Button: If he sees another child being abused, he'll kill their parents free of charge, even abandoning his mission if necessary in order to see justice done (as he did with the Dursleys when he abandoned his chance to take out Harry Potter).
- Giant Mook: But far from Dumb Muscle.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Mickey Rourke.
- Neck Snap: He's done this at least once.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: With Hogwarts Deputy Headmaster Fred Colton, who is rather large himself and therefore kept it from being a Curb Stomp Battle by giving as good as he got.
The Dehaviland Collective
A mysterious company with dark intentions fronted by a Circus of Fear with the Seven Deadly Sins as performers. Currently live and under construction.
- Lust
- Armor-Piercing Slap: While Rage is the most violent of the Sins, Lust can take take him down a peg when he crosses the line.
- Sugar and Ice Personality
- Femme Fatale: It's pretty much her job.
- A Mother to Her Men: Has a very motherly relationship with Gluttony and several other sins.
- Rage
- Hell-Bent for Leather: He skins his own.
- Jerkass Has a Point: While the most violent and least sociable of the Sins, Rage has surprisingly clear insights.
- Names to Run Away From Really Fast: His codename is Rage. Do you want to stick around?
- Unstoppable Rage
- Foe Yay: With Envy.
- Gluttony
- Wraith
- Shout-Out: Kinda looks like one of the gang members from A Clockwork Orange.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Gerard motherfucking Way
- Lilah Warrick
- Half-Human Hybrid: Her father was a demon of some variety, and she has certainly inherited several of his traits.
- Faux Affably Evil: She has absolutely zero conscience and sees other people as nothing more than disposable assets, but at least she's polite about it.
- Femme Fatale
- Mind Rape: Her preferred method of dealing with people.
- Les Yay: Quite a bit with Envy.
- Dex Oliver
- Bishounen
- Came Back Wrong: Reborn as a half demon
- Slasher Smile: Always
- Cute Little Fang
- Half-Human Hybrid: Aforementioned rebirth.
- Perky Goth
- Twin Desynch: Dex has crazy hair and piercings, unlike his twin brother Zero.
Spinoff Characters
Characters who were first seen—or first became important to the plot—on the Spin-Off site, Hogwarts Futures.
- Josalyn Frost
- Spin Offspring: Jason and Madeline's daughter.
- Action Girl
- Badass
- Kick Chick
- Fan Service / Sensual Spandex: Her workout/sparring gear.
- Ethical Slut: No, her parents don't know about this one.
- The Chosen One: There's a prophecy about her, which will start to be fulfilled sometime after her seventeenth birthday.
- Dangerous Seventeenth Birthday: Which is just a few months away...
- María Fernandez
- Femme Fatale
- Evil Is Sexy
- Bat Out of Hell: She can turn into one of these. It ain't pretty.
- Sliding Scale of Vampire Friendliness: Monkeywrenched every which way, due to her veering back and forth between tacitly good and Faux Affably Evil.
- Aristocrats Are Evil: She's a Duchess.
- Heel Face Revolving Door: It's difficult to pin down whose side she's on.
- Chaotic Neutral: For the record, she's on her own side. And nobody else's.
- Les Yay: She's come on to both Madeline and Serena, though it was indirect with Serena.
- Really Seven Hundred Years Old
- Dark Action Girl: When a situation cannot be resolved with words.
- Badass Spaniard
- The Baroness: She's got several aspects of it.
- Xanatos Speed Chess: Up to a point. She is willing and able to alter her plans on the fly, though the 'speed' part may seem less obvious given the length of time her objectives take to achieve. When you're centuries old, a scheme that lasts a mere few decades can be considered Speed Chess.
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: Most of her business dealings are carried out through the Atzlánti Corporation, a group which goes out of its way to destabilise governments and create political unrest in developing nations, while maintaining an excellent public reputation. Exacerbating third-world conflicts keeps the blood flowing, and to María blood is the oil of the cosmos.
- Sex Is Violence: She finds both inflicting and receiving pain to be arousing, and her idea of foreplay is rather brutal.
- Vampires Are Sex Gods: She certainly made Trowa Marshall's first time memorable for (mostly) the right reasons.
- Lucas Kayne
- The Call Knows Where You Live: Death Eaters attacked his home.
- Parental Abandonment: And killed his parents.
- Laser Guided Tykebomb: And then he killed the Death Eaters.
- Badass

- Badass Family: His father was a famous Auror who was known to be very Badass.
- Arthur Charles Stevens
- Big Bad
- Villain with Good Publicity
- Devil in Plain Sight
- Typecasting / Hey, It's That Guy!: Ian McShane. Has he ever played a good guy?
- The Chessmaster
- Ivan Sengir
- No Name Given: At first, we knew him only by his assassin codename, Muerte.
- Badass
- Le Parkour: He free-runs down the side of a castle when he realizes he can't take Jason. Of course, Jason chases him.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: With Jason back in the fight, Ivan's boss stands a lot less of a chance.
- Freudian Excuse / Child of Rape: Cimarron accidentally knocked up his mom while raping her.
- Knife Nut
- Calling the Old Man Out: Was Cimarron technically a man when she impregnated his mother? Who knows?
- Nightmare Fuel: His sig may be, depending how you feel about Karl Kroenen.
- Malevolent Masked Men: He covers his face when he kills.
- The Dragon
- Implausible Fencing Powers: He technically, by being the only one to inflict any actual damage (even if it was a tiny nick on the cheek), defeats Jason in a swordfight. Jason got beaten by this guy. Holy shit.
- Murphy Miller
- Elena Vidierra
- Spin Offspring
- In the Blood: The daughter of two notorious Death Eaters. Her grandparents were Death Eaters as well. She wants to reform the Death Eaters.
- Parental Abandonment: Jason killed her parents and her grandparents.
- The Rival: So understandably, she hates his daughter Josalyn.
- Alyssa Chapel
- Ascended Extra: Though she has been mentioned on the main site a few times, she was too young to even go to Hogwarts then. The new site is the first time that an account has actually been registered for her.
- The Captain: To the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Which may establish actual military leadership qualities in her character, later on.
- Everyone Loves Blondes
- Hannah Janszen
- Alphonse Becker
- The Smart Guy: And then some.
- Smart People Play Chess
- Cool Shades: He wears them all the time, due to photosensitivity.
- Timothy Bowes
- Insufferable Genius
- Grammar Nazi
- Stalker with a Crush: He's got it bad for Alyssa.
- Jerkass: But starting to become a...
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold
- Giancarlo Capardi / Suriel
- Demonic Possession: He's no longer just Giancarlo Capardi.
- The Chessmaster
- Manipulative Bastard
- Five-Bad Band: He uses one of these to manage his schemes.
- The Big Bad: Giancarlo/Suriel himself
- The Dragon: Ajaba Mgambi
- The Evil Genius: Elmalech
- The Brute: Nagaraja, the Basilisk
- The Dark Chick: Mavra, the Hag
- Lord Nikolai Ruthven
- Sliding Scale of Vampire Friendliness: Usually at least fair, if not friendly. Don't get on his bad side, and you should be fine.
- Affably Evil: Seems to be his usual setting.
- Berserk Button: But if you're rude or disrespectful, he will put you in your proper place.
- Time Abyss: He's the only character in the entire canon, outside of some of the Crossover characters from Magic: The Gathering, who is older than Sakiko.
- Chaotic Neutral: He is definitely in it for himself, though he will help the good guys out if another evil force is interfering with his own agenda.
- Heel Face Revolving Door: See above. Sometimes, he'll switch between good and evil in the same thread.
- A Million Is a Statistic: It has been mentioned that over the course of his unlife he has killed more people than World War Two.
- Stronger with Age: The entire foundation of his power.
Miscellaneous
For characters that are... difficult to classify.
Sakiko Kanazawa
- Time Abyss: She's 2,800 years old on the main site, 2,817 on the Spin-Off site, and 5,782 on NationStates.
- A God Am I: She views this as being Cursed with Awesome, and would absolutely prefer not being worshiped.
- Mother Nature: She describes herself as this when explaining her powers. Perhaps justified, since Planeswalkers are pretty much basically Physical Gods.
- Hey Its That Chick: Zhang Ziyi.
- Black Hole Sue: The way she recruits the Chosen Ones to fulfill her prophecy certainly gives her aspects of this.
- Even if Kyleigh Refused the Call.
- Kawaisa: She was described as "kawaii" by one of the site's users in an OOC conversation.
- Fertile Feet
- Friend to All Living Things: Unless they fuck with her, or her Chosen Ones. Or she needs some protein in her diet.
- In Harmony with Nature probably does fit better, actually.
- Green Thumb / Talking to Plants: She doesn't talk to plants in any human tongue, though... she's actually fluent in Plant.

- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: She got the girl she raped pregnant. The baby grew up to become The Dragon on the Spin-Off site.
